OBJECTIVES:

  1. SPEAKING ACTIVITY: For their English tutorial pupils had to prepare a project about ROMANIA. The purpose is that to develop their speaking skills and to enrich their vocabulary. The pupils will have the opportunity to express themselves and to communicate in English.
  2. VOCABULARY REVISION: Pupils will have to find as many words as they can for the following word groups: marine animals, travel by sea, the dangerous sea, tourists and the sea, the land and the sea, work at sea.

TEACHING AIDS:

  1. FOR THE PROJECT: pupils might use any kind of material:

photos, postcards, magazines, newspapers, brochures, books, atlas, maps, flags, large pieces of paper, scissors, glue … . They could get information from a dictionary, a book, an atlas, the Internet, … .

  1. FOR VOCABULARY: The teacher will bring to class flashcards representing the word groups.
