SPANISH PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL
INVITACION
Are you interested in a good time? Need some fun put back in your daily routine? Come and join the Spanish students at TaylorCountyMiddle School for a day of entertainment, competition, learning and culture experience.
Test your knowledge in the Spanish you have learned this year.
Our categories will include:
Spanish skits
Perform a folkloric dance from a Spanish-speaking country
Modern dance - Perform a dance from a Spanish song
Salsa dance contest
Singing contest
REGLAS
Any Spanish student is welcome
Students can compete in one or more categories.
There is a small fee of $5 per student
(Includes admission and lunch)
Responsible chaperones necessary. (A ratio of 1 adult to every 15 students)
DEADLINE TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT IS FEBRUARY 18, 2011
REQUISITOS ESPECIFICOS
1)Skit contest -Concurso de Parodias-The topics will be based on what the students have learned in the class. (Ex. Greeting, food, family, daily activities…etc.).
2)Spanish Plays Contest -Concurso de obras de teatro (Ex. The little Red Riding Hood , The Three Pigs…)
3)The folkloric dance competition from a Spanish speaking country (Ex. Flamenco, Joropo, Cumbia…)
4)The singing contest can be a solo or a group
5)The salsa contest will be as many pairs that want to compete.
6)Modern dance - Perform a dance from a Spanish song. These dances are created by the students. They use their imaginations and creativity.
7)Judges will decide the winners of each category.
