What you should do to Register

  1. Complete ALL details on the registration form.
  2. E-mail your completed registration form with PROOF OF PAYMENT to to reach us before 15 May 2015.
  3. Or FAX your completed registration form with PROOF OF PAYMENT (POP) to PDGA Sylvia Knoop on +27 (0)866924156. Remember to put DIS in front of your name when you make payment.
  4. No registration can be processed without the payment having been received.

Important Information

  • The deadline for registration is 15 May 2015.
  • Fees for the Youth should be paid by hosting clubs. The YEX Committee will send separate notices out.
  • Please complete a separate form for each Youth Exchange Student, Interact RYLA or Rotaract Member if they are to stay in the tented camp.
  • The D9400 Registration feeis mandatory for all conference participants.
  • The Kitchen is Halaal but Kosher Meals are NOT available. Please bring your own if required.
  • Your reservation will be confirmed by email or fax within 10 working days of receipt of your registration form and payment.
  • Please enter the amounts for the events you book for yourself and your partner under the headings ‘Self’ and ‘Partner’. Please read all the notes below.
  • Strict observation will be made by the Sergeant-at-Arms regarding name badges. Delegates that have not paid the relevant conference fee (for full day on Saturday and half day on Sunday), will not be able to attend the opening, closing or any selected speaker programme.
  • Meal tickets will be handed to everyone who attends. No ticket…no meal!

RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE

The Conference Committee (of the Rotary District 9400 Conference, also referred to as “DISCON”) will do everything possible to ensure that your attendance at the 2015 Discon will be as comfortable and beneficial as possible. Any member of the Discon Committee and its appointed agents or other sub-contractors, act on the basis that they attend to the arrangements of Discon for the convenience of its delegates. They perform all tasks on condition that the Conference Committee, or its appointed agents or other subcontractors cannot be held responsible for unforeseen partial or total cancellation of the event; neither will any refunds be granted. The programme is subject to change without notice.

INDEMNITY CLAUSE

You and your guests and/or minor dependants will be granted permission to enter the area and facilities of Ingwenyama Conference and Sports Resort for the duration of the District 9400 Discon to be held from 18to21June 2015. By entering these premises you acknowledge that there are inherent hazards that exist at functions of this nature and that you enter at your and your dependants' and guests’ own risk. You hereby declare that you shall have no claim against THE CONFERENCE COMMITTEE, ROTARY INTERNATIONAL, DISTRICT 9400 or Ingwenyama Conference and Sports Resortany of its volunteers, employees or independent contractors, as a result of the use of defective materials or equipment or of any human or mechanical error, default or failure occurring on the said premises or as a result of the said function. You thus hereby acknowledge and declare that you and your guests and/or minor dependants indemnify the parties named above against any damage or injury whatsoever or any legal costs which may arise out of you and your guests and/or minor dependants entering the said premises.
