No, you do not need tip because McDonalds is not a restaurant where they serve you. The total would be $15.96

  1. Carter went to Chili’s for dinner. He paid for himself and his friend. His total was $9.89 and his friends total was $11.23. There is a 6% tax where he lives and he always leaves a 20% tip. Will he need to put both tax and tip on the subtotal? Why or why not? How much is his final bill?

Total Together = 21.21 + 1.27 (tax) = $22.48 +4.50 (Tip) = $26.98

  1. Dustin went to Applebee’s and paid for dinner. His total was $32.56. There is a 7.5% tax where he lives and he always leaves a 21% tip. Will he need to put both tax and tip on the subtotal? Why or why not? How much is his final bill?

Total – 32.56 + 2.44 (tax) = $35.00 + 7.35 (tip) = $42.35

  1. Cara loves to eat at Murry’s. She went there and bought a LOT of food. Her bill was $98.71. There is a 4.5% tax where she lives and she always leaves a 19.5% tip. How much is his final bill?

$56.78/4 = $14.20 + 1.49 (tax) = $15.69 + $2.35 (tip) = $18.04
