Step / Diagram
1. Slide outer shaft (014) inside of large bearings attached to wheelchair. The shaft slides in until it seats on the flange /
2. Slide inner shaft (8920K155) inside of outer shaft oriented as shown. The outer diameter of the shaft will seat against the internal needle bearings. This is when you know it is in the correct position. /
3. Put left end shaft of gear hub (IHQ5C.QBLS.AA3) into sliding holder on wheelchair as shown. The left side is the side that does not take input. The flats on the gear hub will only fit into the hub mount one way. This is with the ‘SRC5 (w)’ part of the label facing approximately upward. /
Step / Diagram
4. Attach slider support (008) to both support shaft and gear hub shaft as shown, tightening both bolts on the support shaft and the gear hub.
Torque values
7/16” locknut on socket cap screw = 52 ft-lbs
M10 locknuts on gear hub = 45 ft-lbs /
5. Connect large sprocket (015) to sprocket holder on outer shaft
Tighten nine M4 socket head cap screws to 3 ft-lbs /
6. Slide small sprocket (8920K155) onto inner shaft over the inserted keyway. Secure with set screw. The sprocket assembly will seat against the edge of the shaft once it is aligned with the keyway. Slide shaft collar on and tighten to hold the sprocket in place.
