A new school is being built in Huntersville. The school is needed because there is only one school in the area and it is too overcrowded with students. A large forest area will be destroyed in order to create space for the school. In your opinion, what do you think will happen to the animals? What will they need to survive and how will they get what they need to survive? In your opinion, what are two things that citizens of Huntersville should do to help the ecosystem on Ranson Road in Huntersville? Support your opinions with 2 or more suggestions.

Critical attributes of the answer (content expectations?):

Ø  Students need to identify what living things must have to survive (food, water, shelter, space, and sir).

Ø  They must give 2 ways that humans can help. They should explain why their 2 suggestions are the best to help the ecosystem survive.
