Supply and install where shown on plans and with the manufacture’s recommendations, tank heater(s) as follows:

1.  TYPE Tank internal tube bundle, single wall tubes, U – tube design

Sized for agitated or non-agitated tank (select one)

2.  MATERIALS

Tubes copper -20ga Tubesheet (tube side) carbon steel

Front Head cast iron Tie rods and Spacers brass

Tube Supports brass Studs and Nuts carbon steel

Tank Gasket non-asbestos Head Gasket non-asbestos

Optional Tank Collar standard carbon steel Oversized (allows tank lining) carbon steel

3.  CONSTRUCTION

The heat exchanger is to be designed and built in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1. A manufacturer's data report for pressure vessels, form No. U-1 or a manufacturer's partial data report for pressure vessels form No: U-2, as required by the provisions of the ASME Code rules, is to be furnished to the user or designated agent upon request. This form must be signed by a qualified inspector, holding a National Board Commission, certifying that construction conforms to the latest ASME Code for pressure vessels for a minimum design metal temperature of 35 F, a tubeside working pressure of … psi at … F, and, a tank side working pressure of …psi at … F

4.  CAPACITY

Each Tank Heater shall be created for shipment. The front head and gaskets shall be inside the crate.

7.  INSTALLATION
Each heat exchanger shall be connected to the proper relief valves, vent and/or vacuum breaker as required.
