RETURN POLICY
Our goal is help find placements for these puppies/dogs into forever homes. We feel we have been very honest about the disposition and temperament of these puppies when explaining to you what they are like.
If you get the puppy/dog and find you have a hard time dealing with them, we suggest taking it to an obedience class which will help both you and the puppy with learning what you need to know to live together happily. Usually this takes care of most issues. Remember, they are like children and do require time spent with them in play and bonding and need to learn who is in control and in charge.
If an unexpected crisis comes up, like they can, we will try to help you find a new home for your companion. We realize that there are things in life that happen…deaths, divorce, loss of a job, etc, and it becomes a hardship to maintain the ownership of a pet. In situations like this, we will work very hard to help you find a new home for them or take them back. We will prefer to help you find a new home for them first, but will take them back if neither you nor us can find another home within a reasonable time frame. (Depending on your situation).
If we take them back, shipping is paid by you (the buyer) to send him/her back to us. The puppy/dog will need to have a Vet exam and a Health Certificate done just prior to sending him back. You must also include his current shot record so we know what all he/she has received while in your care. We will line up the shipping for you, but you will need to pay for it when you take the puppy to the airport. Once the puppy arrives here, we do need to keep it in isolation for approximately 2 weeks until we can have certain tests ran and the results come back to us. We cannot place the dog/puppy back into our kennel without these tests in case the arriving dog has been exposed to different “bugs” or diseases that we don’t want spread through to the other dogs. The cost of the isolation is $15.00/day,deducted from the amount of the refund of the puppy. This price covers the extra care required and helps to cover the amount of the testing, etc.
The amount of the refund will depend largely on how long you have had the dog/puppy and the condition it is in when it arrives. If you purchase the puppy originally and the shipping was included in the amount, the amount of the shipping will be deducted from the amount we work with for the refund. E.g.: the puppy is $900.00 with shipping included. Shipping is usually $245.00, so the amount we will work with is $900 minus the $245 or $655.00. The shipping costs that we charge when selling a puppy include the cost of the transportation (flight, etc), flight insurance, the crate, the Vet exam, Health Certificate and the cost to get him to the airport. These are costs that are not reimbursed as the money is sent to others for services/goods rendered.
