Colleen McCracken and Becky Martin, OCN Review Course- introduction. Last session finalized recently. Colleen and Becky will be reviewing the evaluations from this past session and prep for the next. Anticipate increased numbers as more organizations participate in ONCC Free Take.

Membership vote needed to approve the dues for our group from $800 to $1,000 because of the growth in our group. “OMEGA” chapter-two motions to approve made and approved by all in favor present.

Dawn Kopaczewski and Julianna Manske Programming:

Working to update the website and get all of the meetings scheduled. This is the first year that ONS has decided to increase the minimum of meetings from 4 to 6. The needs assessment results have been provided and the programming reps are tabulating the results to get them out to the group. These are also being used to help determine meeting topics.

Winners of 2/28/18 raffles announced. As members attend meetings and participate there will be prizes and recognition for keeping involved. Stay tuned for more chances to win.

Breast Density legislation has been a hot item. The proposal has moved to the governor’s review. This legislation is important to ensure breast density is covered by insurances should a woman need this as part of a work up for breast cancer.

Nurses on boards coalition- a group that is working to ensure at least 10,000 nurses are on boards by 2020. Please go to website to state you are a part of a nursing board:

WINC-Wisconsin Infusion Nursing Chapter-3 in attendance- small update provided by one of the representatives. Looking to grow chapter again.
