1) I-205, Mill Plain To NE 18th Street – Phase 2June 16, 2014 Ad

Clark County$35 million

Description: Add new northbound off-ramp and southbound on-ramp to existing NE 18th Street Bridge over I-205. Extend length of southbound off-ramp and grade-separate it from the southbound on-ramp with a 600 ft bridge. Add northbound off-ramp from Mill Plain vicinity to NE 18thStreet. Shift 1,000 feet of southbound I-205 into median area. Add two noise walls on west side of I-205.

Major items:

One 600 foot length composite steel girder single lane ramp bridge.

Seismic Retrofit on existing NE 9th St and NE 18th St bridges over I-205.

Two concrete noise walls – 2,000 feet length total

Reinforced concrete retaining wall - 15,000 square feet

Soldier pile wall – 14,000 square feet

Structural earth wall – 65,000 square feet

Concrete wall facia panels – 28,000 square feet

Roadway Excavation Including Haul – 140,000 cubic yards

Structure Excavation Class A – 3,800 cubic yards

Structure Excavation Class B – 3,600 cubic yards

Embankment Compaction – 40,000 cubic yards

Crushed surfacing base course rock – 18,000 tons

Cement concrete pavement - 1,600 cubic yards

Hot Mix Asphalt –21,000 tons

Storm Sewer Pipe (12” – 18”) - 5,500 linear feet

Single Slope Concrete Barrier - 7,400 linear feet

Temporary Concrete Barrier – 13,000 linear feet

Description: Grind out 0.15 feet of existing asphalt and replace with new Hot Mix Asphalt on all existing travel lanes (not shoulders), northbound and southbound. Includes plastic striping and lane markers.

Major Items:

Planing existing asphalt 0.15 feet depth – 140,000 square yards

Hot Mix Asphalt – 14,000 tons

3)I-205, Bi-State Corridor Travel Time Signing4/21/2014 Ad

Description: Install travel destination timeline signs; cantilever sign structures.

Description: Replace highway regulatory and warning signs throughout SW Washington that have exceeded their useful lifetimes for visibility and reflectivity.

Description: Strategic rock scaling to reduce risk of rock fall onto highway.
