The car sped on but a short time later as she neared 22nd Street, the vehicle pulled along side of her. “Hey baby.” the driver yelled. When the woman looked over she saw that the driver had his penis exposed and was masturbating. Fearing for her safety, the woman ran across the street and through Dolores Park and called a friend to come and pick her up. Once home the woman called 911 and reported the incident to police. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, wearing a red t-shirt.

A man woke up in the morning and found several strange men in his motel room. The man told the men to leave and after they had gone he noticed his Nokia cell phone missing. The man left his room to try and find the suspects to see if they had his cell phone but could not find them. When he returned, another man was in his room sitting on his bed. “I want you to leave.” the man told the intruder. The stranger complied without incident, walking down the open air balcony and into another room on the second floor. The victim took a quick inventory of his belongings, noticed his wallet was missing and called the police. Officers responded and the victim told officers the suspect was still inside the room on the second floor. Officers went to the room the victim had pointed out and knocked on the door. After several knocks, a male slowly opened the door. Officers could see through the crack in the door another male in the room quickly run to the bathroom and slam the door. Officers also observed a third male throw something under the bed and then duck down so not to be seen. Believing the occupants of the room were trying to conceal the stolen wallet and cell phone, the officers pushed inside the room and looked underneath the bed, discovering a glass pipe and a lighter. On top of the dresser was a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine. Officers searched the room for the wallet and cell phone but did not find them. The victim told officers that none of the three men they had detained were the suspects that were earlier in his room. Officers admonished two of the men for their part and arrested the third for an outstanding warrant and parole violation. The man, 33, was taken to Mission Station and booked accordingly. Officers also searched the motel grounds for the suspects in the thefts of the wallet and cell phone, but could not find them.
