Supreme Court Cases
Requirements:
1.) Pick a Fold out (We will do that soon)
2.) Pick a Supreme Court Case (no 2 students will do the same case)
3.) On the fold out, you will need all of the following:
- Year of the Court Case
- Names of the Supreme Court Justices
- Names (first and last) of the 2 people involved in the trial (who the court case is named after) and who they each were
- Summary of the issue in the court case in your own words.
- Decision of the Supreme Court Case (9-0, 7-2, 5-4, etc.) and which side the Supreme Court sided with
- How this decision changed life in America (the effect on life) in your own words.
- A Brief background of what was going on in America at the time that would have influenced this court case and decision
- At least 3 pictures
- Bibliography (MLA Format)
