As a Texas Instruments procurement Co-Op/Intern, you'll be assigned a challenging project that will allow you to apply theProcurement and Logistics knowledge you have gained in college. Potential projects include:

·  Defining and developing efficientsourcing processes that support our strategies

·  Reducing transactional workload and cycle time through innovative solutions and systems

·  Identifying cost reduction opportunities through innovative programs such as supplier managed inventory, second sourcing, and reverse auctions

·  Working with suppliers, wafer fab management, and engineering groups to implement cost reduction projects

·  Improving ROI on service contracts

·  Managing suppliers for improvement in pricing and performance worldwide

·  Working with overseas manufacturers to build a competitive advantage for TI by procuring from low cost regions

·  Process Purchase Orders

Qualifications

·  Minimum 3.0 overall GPA

·  Successfully pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related filed

·  Values that are consistent with TI's ethics and business philosophy

·  Authorization to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship

The ability to provide closed-loop communication to internal customers, manage complex situations, and prioritize multiple projects is essential.

Knowledge of the procurement process and supply chain management is essential. Good customer focus and team negotiation skills are needed.
