Stepwise estimation with backward-selection logistic regression model was used. Use the presence of erosive esophagitis (yes or no) as reference and dependent variable, and age, sex, BMI, waist circumference, SBP, DBP, HBsAg, triglyceride, total cholesterol, HbA1c, LDL, HDL level, AST, ALT, ALP levels, history of DM, hypertension, smoking, alcohol consumption and APRI as independent variables. P ≥ 0.2 is the significant level for removal from the model, and P < 0.1 is the significant level for addition to the model.
