Junior Activity Fee

What is the Junior Activity Fee?

A Junior Activity Fee is being implemented this year to assist student leadership and staff in planning and executing special events throughout the year. We have many plans and ideas, and the collected funds will help us plan activities in advance so that we might use the money in the most economical way possible (such as having the ability to pay in advance and take advantage of quantity discounts).

The activity fee has also been implemented to simplify and encourage event participation for students. They will no longer have to pay for events separately throughout the year and keep track of due dates for turning in fees, etc. Please note that the activity fee is NOT required. If desired, students may pay for events “a la carte” throughout the year. However, the activity fee offers all events at a discounted rate. Purchasing a la carte may result in higher fees per event.

How will the collected money be used?

A variety of activities are being planned for the junior class this year, including, but not limited to:

  • Homecoming – Funds will be used to purchase supplies for the class homecoming float and hallway decorations
  • Junior Activity – An off-campus, juniors-only outing at the end of the school year - $20 value
  • Project Graduation – This money will help fund the Post-graduation party at the end of senior year - $15 value
