Information Distribution to Families: General Science Fair Information for all students can be found in the Portal under News Items - Science Fair Information. Specific Information about Science Fair Registration can be found in the Portal under News Items - Science Fair Registration. Registration for Cyber and Face to Face Science Fairs is posted on the Scheduler under each campus. Information about Science Fair was also disseminated to students via teachers.
Coaching: Science Fair Coaching - Students may register for online coaching with Michelle Kelly and Alison Hancox right up until the date of their regional Science Fair. Coaching for science fair is open to students anywhere across the province and it is open for students doing face to face or cyber fair. Coaching is by appointment and takes place Fridays from 10 - 12. (For more information contact Michelle Kelly: or 403-703-6830)
All students, across the province, with Face to Face Science Fair questions may contact Susan Sawatzy for specific questions, advice or coaching. Students continuing on to a regional science fair may book a one on one coaching session with Susan Sawatzky via video conference. (Contact Susan Sawatzky: or 403-726-0205).
Science Fairs:
Face to Face Science Fair: Students interested in Face to Face Science Fair can make an appointment to come into the campus to have an Argyll teacher review their project. Students wishing to continue on to the Edmonton Regional Science Fair must have their project reviewed prior to March 10, 2010. Students in grades 4 - 12 who are eligible may continue on to the Edmonton Regional Science Fair that takes place April 10 & 11 at the main campus of Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Carolyn and Jen please note: Deadline for student registration for Edmonton Region Science Fair is March 15, 2010. Students are asked to register through the Science Fair in box system.
Cyber Science Fair: Cyber SF is taking place online from February 2 - 5. To register for cyberfair look online in the scheduler under each campus - all students are welcome! Students taking place in the Cyber Science Fair may be eligible to continue on to the Canada Wide Science Fair.
