Mess 1John Moon to 1538(decd); Radcliffe 1558 to 1579; John Atkinson was grantee but probably on behalf of Thomas Dockrey who transferred it to Thomas Banks in 1604 in whose hands it was in 1621
Mess 2Robert Burton and his mother 1520, William Banks 1549 to son, to son 1621
Mess 3William Wilson 1520 and sons to 1597 when it passed to a nephew Christopher who mortgaged the property to pay for 5000 year lease resulting in Robert Banks having the greater part in 1621
Mess 4John Rome’s widow and remained father to son until 1578 (3 daughters) then to son-in-law who kept it until 1604 and on his death (or soon after) it was divided between his son and Richard Radcliffe.
Mess 5Henry Stackhouse 1520 [grand] daughter Katherine married Richard Preston [1559] and it stayed with the Prestons until 1620
Mess 6Richard Claphamson 1520 stayed with family until 1591 (no heirs) and by 1621 had been divided between 4 people
Mess 7Thomas Stackhouse 1520 he went to London and the messuage was taken by John Webster, then George Lawson with whose descendants it remained

Mess 10John Brayshaw 1520 ( ½ oxgang was transferred to another member of the family) and the tenement was divided between Brayshaw and Paley after 1572 although a male Brayshaw occupied it for a while when he wed a Paley widow 1559
Richard Payley holds one messuage and one bovate and a half , with the appurtenances, by the lord’s warrant, and renders per annum 10s
