Rules of the Competition:

  1. Only the undergraduate college students are eligible to participate.
  1. Each institute will be represented by one participant in each event.
  1. Duration will not be more than 2 hours 30 minutes.
  1. Candidates will bring their own material like brush, paints etc. The drawing paper sheet of 22” x 15” will be provided to the participants by G.L.S.(M. R. Parikh) Institute of Commerce.
  1. Painting can be done in oil, water or pastel colours. Mixing of two mediums is not allowed.
  1. In Clay-modeling, size of the item should not be less than 10” in height of synthetic clay and requested material. A base (of cardboard or wood) can be used to display the model. Participants will bring their own clay.
  1. Collage has to be prepared from old magazines or newspapers. Participants are requested to bring their own material along with old magazines and newspapers.
  1. The subject / topic / theme for the competition will be given on the spot.
  1. For Rangoli (a) Any medium may be used poster colours, flowers petals or saw, dust or pulses,

Or rice without pasting

(b) Form for expression can be free hand, pictorial or descriptive

(c) Participant will bring own material. Only the rangoli space (2’x2’ size) will be

provided by the college

  1. The participants are required to report 30 minutes prior to the competition.
  1. Participants must carry their collegeIdentity Cards at the time of the competition.
  1. Two prizes will be given in each category. A certificate will be issued to each participant.
  1. For all the events, decision of the Judges / College Committee would be final.
