Ag/Science Fundraiser – Tri Tip Drive Thru: Ag/Science is selling tickets to our Tri Tip Drive Thru to be served on October 27! It’s a Friday! Don’t want to cook on that Friday? Community Service Opportunities:

We need your help! Premier Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Tracy( is sponsoring a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat. We need volunteer help to hand out candy, decorate cars, help us sell soft drinks, run simple carnival games and pass out toy prizes. Event runs on Tuesday, October 31st, from 5pm to 8pm, but we will need volunteers from 2:30pm-8:30pm. To sign up for this event, or would like more information, please email us at

Location: Grand Theatre Center for the Arts (715 Central Ave, Tracy)

Bring out your acting skills for various positions in a kid’s interactive Haunted House. All costumes-and training provided.

10-12 Volunteers needed as: fortune teller, 3 comical witches, puppeteer for a giant swamp monster, person inviting kids to feed the swamp monster giant bugs, puppeteer for a life size Frankenstein, mad scientist, and puppeteer for a giant furry arm called Spot the dog.

Rehearsal - the day before at the Grand Theatre or the morning of the event is sufficient.

The Nijagal Family Scholarship-3 up to $500 – Graduating Tracy High School senior who plans to attend a CSU or UC in the fall of 2018. John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest- to high school students grades 9-12. UC Davis Undergraduate Scholarships- senior planning to attend UC Davis in the Fall of 2018. Undergraduate scholarships are awarded on merit basis. Scholarship criteria may include participation in extracurricular activities, career interests. Various deadline dates – see website

The Christermon Foundation- planning to attend a 4 yr. college/university in the U.S. Open to California students who parents and/or grandparents or legal guardian are proprietors of, or employed by an individual or corporation holding a California liquor, beer or wine license.
