StuCo Announcements
-Hat Day is tomorrow so buy your tickets today if you haven’t done so. They will NOT be sold the day of the event. They are $1 each and may be purchased from an Officer. If you have not been able to buy one, they will also be for sale at lunch in room 226.
-StuCo will be at concessions tomorrow selling spirit wear and treats! Stop by, say hello and grab something!
Open Gym Announcement
Today during block lunch we will have basketball during open gym. Remember that food and drink are not permitted in the gym at any time.
Summer Job Opportunity Announcement
A new summer volunteer opportunity is availableon the volunteer bulletin board outside Ms. Houpy’s office. If you are interested in volunteeringat LISD’s Early Childhood Summer School, please stop by and get more information. Get your application in quickly.
Color Guard Auditions Announcement
Auditions for the 2018-2019 LHS Color Guard will take place on Monday afternoon, May 7, from 4:30-6:30 pm in the LHS Main Band Hall. It is encouraged to bring athletic clothes. We are very excited for the opportunity to get some new students into the Color Guard program and encourage you to come try out!
Farmer Fest Announcement
Just a reminder that Farmer Fest is coming up on May 18. To be allowed to participate, students must not have been assigned PASS, BASE, OSS, or DAEP by the assistant principal; must not owe any fines, and must not be failing more than one class. Be on your best behavior, pay those fines, and get those grades up so that you can join the fun!
