Event & Scene Possibilities

What Eurus event is your story based upon?

This story will be based upon the Ambler Hamnel elders signing of the Manga Traca relinquishing their power in 12150.

Write three interesting facts about the real world event that your story is based upon. For each fact, write a Eurus version of how this could be integrated into your story.

Fact: Not so much fact, but many myths surround King John who signed the Magna Carta. He was the villain in Robin Hood (could this be Naamah?) who tried to steal the throne from Richard the Lionheart.
Eurus Version: Namaah plays the role of Robin Hood within Ambler Hamnel as she supports the masses against the elders, led by Elder Jnoh whose older brother, Elder Chardi, mysteriously passed away while she was gone.
Fact: John was nicknamed Lackland because he was not able to inherit land since he was the fourth son of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitane. As a result, he was always conniving to get land and in conflict with others. Even when he came to power as king, he lost land and struggled to get it back by raising taxes. This is what led to revolt.
Eurus Version: Elder Jnoh was a sickly child and was always overshadowed by his older brother Chardi who was strong, brave, and kind. Jnoh spent his life failing to live up to his brother’s standard and manipulated others to gain power and prestige since he could not earn it of his own right.
Fact: King John didn’t intend to sign the Magna Carta, but realized at the meeting at Runnymede that he was outmatched and his barons could take over in an instant, so he appeased them by signing the charter.
Eurus Version: Elder Jnoh speaks to the people of Ambler Hamnel about why he has imprisoned their own people. He realizes that the crowd is about to revolt and agrees to a public trial of the prisoners to appease the crowd.
Fact: Since kings were considered rulers appointed by God, the Pope declared the Magna Carta null and void, and excommunicated all barons who signed the charter.
Eurus Version: The other elders proclaim that there will be no trialand that anyone who resists would be banished from Ambler Hamnel.
