Notes from the President: Hello Everyone!!!
On 26 November the 12th annual Bobby Natalini blood drive was held in spite of the poor weather. A total of 128 pints of blood were donated. Thanks to all who participated.
The annual “Black Friday” trout stocking was held the 28th of November. Approximately 20 hardy souls were on hand to stock 1500 fish into the Kepner and Stony Creeks.
On behalf of the SCA Board of Directors we would like to welcome Charles Morris and Harvey Schlesinger as our newest members.
SCA received good news for the 2015 New Year. We have been awarded a $7500 grant from the Arcadia Foundation which will help us carry out our many fishing related endeavors.
I hopeyou will strongly consider renewing your SCA Membership for 2015. We will need your support to move forward.
I expect to see some new & familiar faces at our first monthly meeting of the new yearon Tuesday 13January,2015 at 7:30PM at the Norristown Maenner-Chor Club; 920 Haws Ave. Norristown, Pa.

14January 2015, “Doe Hunt” at the Norristown Farm Park. Both the Farm Park and SCA will be closed for the day.
17 January, Delaware Valley Surf Anglers, 7th annual, “Fishing Flea Market” will be held at the V.E. German Club, Davisville Road, Southampton, PA. from 9AM-2PM. Admission $3.00 (15 & up), children 14 and younger free.
26 & 27 February & 1 March, Philadelphia Outdoor Sportsman’s EXPO will be held in Oaks PA.Hours will be 12 Noon to 8PM on the 26th, 10AM to 7PM on the 27th & 10AM to 5PM the 1st.
7 March, Calvary Church Outdoor EXPO, 820 Old Bethlehem Pike, Souderton, PA. Hours 10AM to 5PM.
28 March, 29th annual Stony Creek Clean Up, sponsored by the Stony Creek Anglers, will be held “Rain or Shine” from 8AM to 12 Noon in memory of Ray Duff. Interested parties will meet at the Norristown Bocce Club in Elmwood Park. Dress according to the weather. Hip boots or waders may be necessary. Hot beverages, donuts and lunch will be provided as well as bags and disposable gloves for the clean-up. Registration starts at 7AM. Community service cards will also be signed.
28 March, Trout stocking starts at 1PM from the SCA nursery.
4 April, Trout Season Opens, Southeast region only at 8AM. PA fishing license is required with a trout stamp. Daily creel limit is 5.
18 April, Trout Season Opens, West, North & Central regions at 8AM. PA fishing license is required with a trout stamp. Daily creel limit is 5.
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET
ALL membership dues must be paid by January 1, 2015. Those individuals who have not renewed their membership by February 1, 2015 will be dropped from our rolls.
