RACE 1 [TF0752]

CLASS 5 SC (D) 1400M

DIVISION 1

Mr Mogana Selvan A/L Ramiah, Trainer S Gray's Assistant Trainer, when questioned regarding the significant increase in the body weight of TEMBUSU ESTRELA (G Boss), stated that the gelding had returned from a lengthy spell and had built up significantly during this time. He added that TEMBUSU ESTRELA had progressed well during training and had worked well. He also added that TEMBUSU ESTRELA was, in his opinion, fit to start. A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed TEMBUSU ESTRELA fit to race.

As the start was effected, ANY RUMOUR (App WS Chan) was standing awkwardly in the gate and as a result, jumped away awkwardly. Subsequent to the race, after reviewing the films and prior to the ‘All Clear’ being given, the Stewards were of the opinion that ANY RUMOUR was not denied a fair start and ANY RUMOUR was declared a runner.

Shortly after the start, MR DREAMMAN (I Saifudin) eased when crowded between MAGIC PAINT (A Munro), which in turn had been carried inwards slightly by SUGARTIME JAZZ (O Chavez) and DARCI'S BOY (J Powell), which rolled outwards.

BIG REGARDS (R Shafiq), which was proving difficult to settle got its head up when steadied off the heels of DARCI'S BOY passing the 1100m.

SUGARTIME JAZZ raced wide throughout.

APOLLO (M Rodd) raced wide from the 800m.

TEMBUSU ESTRELA hung inwards passing the 200m obliging its rider to stop riding and straighten his mount.

Jockey R Shafiq reported that BIG REGARDS was not striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on APOLLO which revealed no apparent abnormality.

RACE 2 [TF0753]

RESTRICTED MAIDEN POLYTRACK 1000M

WEIGHT FOR AGE

(2 & 3 YEARS OLD)

Enroute to the barrier, BRIMSTONE (App CK Ng) dislodged its rider and galloped riderless for some distance. To avoid unnecessary delay, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1309Hrs.

BOY WONDER (M Nunes) began awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, SILVER SKY (I Saifudin) lost ground after being buffeted between CRAZY DREAMS (R Woodworth) and THOTH WARRIOR (M Zaki), which shifted inwards. CRAZY DREAMS was then bumped by JADE DRAGON (D Beasley), which shifted outwards.

CRAZY DREAMS proved difficult to settle in the early stages.

CRAZY DREAMS laid outwards making the turn into the straight and in so doing, carried THOTH WARRIOR and BOY WONDER wider on the track.

BOY WONDER and THOTH WARRIOR both raced wide throughout.

BRINGER OF WAR (D David) laid outwards in the straight.

Approaching the 200m, SILVER SKY, which was making ground, eased when BOY WONDER shifted inwards abruptly.

Passing the 200m, RIVER FORTUNE (App CC Wong) had to be eased when disappointed for a run after NOVA CLASSIC (R Shafiq) laid inwards.

Passing the 100m, SUPER DRAGON (SY Moon) shifted inwards abruptly obliging its rider to stop riding and straighten his mount on a number of occasions.

Jockey Beasley reported that JADE DRAGON was not striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

App S Shafrizal reported that MIGHTY PHOENIX was making respiratory noises. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on LEONIDAS (O Chavez) which revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.


RACE 3 [TF0754]

CLASS 4 POLYTRACK 1700M

GOLD HILL (M Rodd) jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped NORTHERN BOSS (A Munro).

LIM'S BATTLE (K A'Isisuhairi) jumped inwards at the start and made contact with the hindquarters of COLONEL LINCOLN (App H Syafiq).

Near the 900m, GOLD HILL shifted outwards and bumped LIM'S BATTLE. GOLD HILL and LIM'S BATTLE then raced tight for some distance, thereby making contact on a number of occasions.

DUKE OF NORMANDY (D Beasley) raced wide throughout.

Near the 400m, MOON CHARM (App CC Wong) eased when crowded between ARIF (N Juglall) and COLONEL LINCOLN, which rolled inwards.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on NORTHERN BOSS which revealed that the horse returned lame off-fore and exhibited signs of respiratory distress after the race. NORTHERN BOSS will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on NO SMOKING JEFF (SY Moon) which revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.

RACE 4 [TF0755]

OPEN MAIDEN SC (D) 1200M

Prior to the start, AMIABILITY (A Munro) was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race.

HAPPY BABY (M Nunes) and TARZAN (App R Zawari) bumped on jumping.

EL CONDOR (R Woodworth) raced wide throughout.

Passing the 250m, TARZAN momentarily steadied off the heels of GANGNAM CLASSIC (D Beasley), which rolled outwards.

Jockey Nunes, the rider of HAPPY BABY, was dislodged from his horse after the race and to avoid any unnecessary delay, he was exempted from the weigh-in. Jockey Nunes was subsequently examined by the Course Medical Officer who declared him unfit to fulfil his remaining riding engagements.


RACE 5 [TF0756]

CLASS 5 SC (D) 1400M

DIVISION 2

ALADDIN (S Sam) jumped away awkwardly.

KING CROSS (App Y Salim) was crowded on jumping between KASHAN (O Chavez) and GOOD LUCKY (A Munro), which jumped awkwardly outwards.

Near the 1300m, GREATBALLS OF FIRE (SY Moon) steadied off the heels of GOLDEN JADE (App M Jailani), which in turn had been steadied off the heels of EVERTRUST (App CC Wong) when that gelding laid inwards.

KING CROSS raced wide throughout.

KASHAN raced wide from the 600m.

Approaching the 100m, EVERTRUST eased when crowded to the inside of MARGAUX (D David), which shifted inwards and away from ALADDIN when that gelding laid inwards under pressure.

The Farrier reported that GOOD LUCKY returned having cast its near-fore plate.

RACE 6 [TF0757]

INGLIS READY2RACE STAKES

OPEN 2 YEAR OLD SC (D) 1200M

FIRST CHOICE (I Saifudin) was difficult to be loaded into the barrier. Trainer T Kieser was advised that a warning has been placed on FIRST CHOICE regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future.

SATELLITE GOLDEN (K A'Isisuhairi) was difficult to be loaded into the barrier. Trainer J O'Hara was advised that a warning has been placed on SATELLITE GOLDEN regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action may be taken in future.

AUSPICIOUS DAY (G Boss) and LUCKY MASTER (A Munro) bumped on jumping.

FIRST CHOICE and KISS YOUR SONG (J Powell) bumped on jumping. FIRST CHOICE then shifted inwards abruptly crowding LUCKY MASTER onto AUSPCIOUS DAY, resulting in both horses losing ground.

D'GREAT STAR (D Beasley) jumped awkwardly outwards making contact with BEBOP (D David).

Approaching the 1000m, BEBOP was bumped by IMDRAGON (M Rodd), which shifted inwards when being eased to avoid the heels of IFFRAGAL (N Juglall), which shifted inwards. Jockey Juglall was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.

Shortly after passing the 1000m, LUCKY MASTER had to be eased after racing up onto the heels of ONE FORCE (SY Moon).

Near the 900m, AUSPICIOUS DAY got its head up whilst being eased when momentarily tight to the inside of SATELLITE GOLDEN.

Passing the 600m, LUCKY MASTER was carried wider when SATELLITE GOLDEN laid outwards.

Making the turn into the straight, IFFRAGAL was carried wider when SATELLITE GOLDEN shifted outwards and away from AUSPICIOUS DAY, which laid outwards slightly.

BEBOP raced greenly over the final 100m.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on AUSPICIOUS DAY, KISS YOUR SONG and LUCKY MASTER which revealed no apparent abnormality.

RACE 7 [TF0758]

CLASS 5 SC (D) 2000M

As to avoid a clash with an overseas race, this race was put back five minutes and rescheduled to start at 1550Hrs.

SUN HANCOCK (M Zaki) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced URBAN LEGEND (D David).

DRAGON (SY Moon), which was slightly slow to begin, was inconvenienced shortly after the start by BLACK SWAN (M Rodd), which was carried outwards by ORION (D Beasley), which shifted outwards and away from ALFONSO (App H Syafiq) when that gelding shifted outwards slightly.

Approaching the 1900m, SUPER BUFFALO (App R Zawari) eased to avoid the heels of SUN HANCOCK, which shifted inwards.

DESTINY KNIGHT (App I Amirul) and ORION both raced wide from the 600m.

EAGLESHAM (V Duric), which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.


A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on HOLY GRAIL (A Munro) which revealed that the horse returned not striding out freely.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both ORION and URBAN LEGEND which revealed no apparent abnormality.

Following the running of Race 7, Jockey Duric, the rider of EAGLESHAM, was examined by the Course Medical Officer who declared him unfit to fulfil his remaining riding engagements.

RACE 8 [TF0759]

CLASS 5 POLYTRACK 1100M

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 7, this race was put back five minutes and rescheduled to start at 1620rs.

ONE O NINE (TH Koh) and STARPERFECT (O Chavez) were both slow to begin.

RACE 9 [TF0760]

KRANJI STAKES A SC (D) 1400M

BLUE SWEDE (M Kellady) was slow into stride after jumping away awkwardly.

GOLDEN CURL (App CC Wong) and POSEIDON (M Rodd) bumped on jumping. This resulted in POSEIDON making contact with ROYAL RULER (N Juglall) and shifting inwards after becoming unbalanced and in so doing, bumped again with GOLDEN CURL, which then made contact with the hindquarters of LASER STORM (R Shafiq).

BEST TOTHELIGN (J Powell) raced wide throughout.

MR FANTASTIC (B Vorster) raced wide from the 800m.

GOLDEN CURL was held up and unable to improve between the 400m and the 250m.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on POSEIDON which revealed no apparent abnormality.


RACE 10 [TF0761]

CLASS 4 POLYTRACK 1100M

HEE'S A MAVERICK (App S Shafrizal) and QUEEN ROULETTE (I Saifudin) bumped on jumping.

Shortly after the start, SIAM SAPPHIRE (B Vorster) eased when crowded to the inside of STAR KING (D David), which had been bumped inwards by HIKO YUNIKON (K A'Isisuhairi) when that gelding was carried inwards by SURE WIN (M Zaki). Shortly thereafter, HIKO YUNIKON and STAR KING again made contact.

Shortly after passing the 800m, SAVAGE STORM (R Woodworth) lost ground after being crowded between SUPERSONICSURPRISE (J Powell) and HIKO YUNIKON, which shifted outwards and away from STAR KING, which rolled outwards slightly.

Near the 700m, SURE WIN got its head up whilst being steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of BARNATO (N Juglall).

Near the 600m, SURE WIN got its head up again when being steadied. Shortly after, QUEEN ROULETTE steadied off the heels of BARNATO, which shifted inwards.

HIKO YUNIKON had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the early part of the straight.

Jockey Zaki reported that SURE WIN was making respiratory noises. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on AUSPICIOUS ACE (A Munro) which revealed no apparent abnormality.

RACE 11 [TF0762]

CLASS 4 SC (D) 1400M

As to avoid a clash with an overseas race, this race was put back ten minutes and rescheduled to start at 1805Hrs.

GOL GOAL (M Kellady) was slow into stride.

NORTHERN KNIGHT (R Shafiq) and SPLINTER (N Juglall) bumped on jumping. SPLINTER then shifted outwards and bumped JUBILATION (App H Syafiq).

Near the 1200m, GOLD CROWN (App I Amirul) eased to avoid the heels of IN BOCCA AL LUPO (D David), which shifted inwards.

Near the 900m, SPLINTER, which was racing keenly, had to be steadied to avoid the heels of MARK ECLIPSE (App Y Salim), which shifted inwards.

GOLD CROWN raced wide throughout.

Passing the 700m, NORTHERN KNIGHT eased when momentarily crowded to the inside of JUBILATION, which shifted inwards and away from OPTIMUS (D Beasley).

MANGATOETOENUI (M Rodd) raced wide from the 600m.

Near the 250m, GOL GOAL was momentarily inconvenienced when SPLINTER shifted outwards when tiring. Shortly after, GOL GOAL was then held up for clear running for a short distance and shortly after passing the 200m, shifted outwards making contact with HUMDINGER (A Munro) on a couple of occasions.

The Farrier reported that OLIVER (J Powell) returned having cast its near-fore plate.
