I should have mentioned the invitation comes because I’m one of Fast Companies 2016 “most creative people in business.” We see these events as an opportunity to engage with prospective funders and partners. This event is similar to events sponsored by Chicago Ideas Week, Chicago Innovation Awards, Crain’s, Chicago Tribune Blue Sky Innovation etc. and there will be attendees that we would like to engage with about the Chicago Public Library.
