45-DAY DEMO & PRODUCT TRAINING MOVIE
STEP 1: REQUEST A 5-USER REGISTRATION CODE FROM AB FAS
Contact your local Applied Biosystems Field Application Specialist OR send an email to with your name and contact information and request a registration code for SeqScape v2.5 45-Day Demo software. You can use this registration code and demo software on five different computers for your evaluation period. The demo software will expire 45 days after it is launched for the FIRST time and it will not install nor run after October 1, 2006.
STEP 2: CONFIRM THAT SYSTEM MEETS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum reqs: Pentium® III or IV, 733 MHz or faster CPU, 512MB RAM, 2GB Hard Disk running Windows® 2000 OS sp3 or sp4 or Windows® XP OS, sp1 or sp2
TCP/IP Protocol must be installed. To check for the protocol, go to Network Neighborhood, Properties, Local Area Connections, Properties, General.
STEP 3: CONFIRM THAT SYSTEM DOES NOT HAVE PREVIOUS VERSIONS
SeqScape Software v2.5 will not install on any system that contain previous versions of SeqScape software. If you have SeqScape software v1.0, v1.1, 2.0, 2.1 or v2.1.1 software or demo software you must Un-install that before installing this Demo software. You should ARCHIVE your SeqScape software data.
STEP 4: WATCH THE SEQSCAPE PRODUCT TRAINING MOVIE

STEP 5: INSTALL SEQSCAPE SOFTWARE
Double click on SeqScape_v2.5_Demo.exe and follow the directions. From the installer drop down menu select hard drive partition for software to be installed
STEP 6: LAUNCH THE SOFTWARE
