GENERAL INFORMATION FOR BOWLERS WISHING TO NOMINATE FOR STATE TEAM TRAINING SQUADS AND ROLL OFFS.
PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT NOMINATION FORM UNTIL YOU HAVE THOROUGHLY READ THE FOLLOWING.
1: Nomination fee of $20.00 to accompany nomination forms and either individual record sheets, or league standing sheets showing current average, to be sent to the above address and must be received by Friday 3rd July 2015.
2: Training squads open to all 2015 TBA registered bowlers with a disability who bowl in a regular league setting in a TBA NSW accredited centre and who have or will have competed an all events entry at the NSW TBA State Championships at Maitland in July 2015.
3: TBA membership must be paidin January 2016,even if your league has notcommenced back. Please retain receipt given by secretary of league or centre as proof and show your card/receipt to the managers at the February 2016 training squad.
4: Venues: All bowlers nominating for the training squads will be required to be in attendance at the training dates in August, September , October & November, with Roll Offs in December.
5: If you are successful in making either the Open or Cole Cup team you will be required to attend the team training sessions in the centres and times as advised by the committee, in February, March , April & May 2016. Cost for each training session will be advised ASAP and will be paid to the Managers before you train. Transport and costs for all bowlers to attend the training sessions is up to the individual bowler. You will also be required to return the paperwork given or sent to you by the date specified. Failure to comply with all that is required or requested will mean forfeiture of your place in the team.
5: Uniforms: Uniforms will be handed to the State Team representatives at the May training session. The State shirt will be provided by the committee to wear for the State team challenge (shirts are not to worn before the relevant Stateteam challenge)Black dress long pants for both male and female bowlers are to be provided by the bowler themselves. You are required to train in your dress pants at the May session. No Jeans, leggings, bike pants or track pants permittable.
6: Fundraising: All bowlers in the training squadsare required to participate in fundraising as set out by the committee. Monies raised from these activities help fund uniforms, State Team Challenge entry (if applicable) and lunches on the day of the state team event.
7: If selected to either of the State teams you will be required to be in attendance at the Nationals for at least one week.All travel, accommodation and squads to be organized, submitted and paid for by the bowler. The cost of the state team photo is also to be paid by the bowler, the managers will organise the date and time with the photographer at Nationals and will advise the cost and collect the payments for him/her.
You are required to advise the Managers of your arrangements on the forms you will receive by the date specified; failure to do so will mean forfeiture of your position in the team.
8: ELIGIBILITY: ALL NOMINEES MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION PROVING THEIR ELIGIBILITY AS A BOWLER WITH A DISABILITY.
OPEN TO ALL BOWLERS WHO MEET THE CRITERIA AS PER RULE 216 OF THE TBA RULE BOOK.
