Starline introduces new 12 Gbps Areca SAS/SATA RAID controllers.
The new Areca ARC-1216/-1226 RAID controllers provide up to two internal or external 12 Gbps miniSAS HD ports
for up to eight SAS/SATA HDDs or SSDs.
Everyone looking for a affordable, high-performance RAID controllers the Areca ARC-1216 and ARC-1226 RAID controllers are the right choice.
The special storage CPU is equipped with a new high-performance Dual Core processor with 1.2 GHz. The
1 GB on-board RAM memory is integrated. These RAID controllers are low-profile models and they perfectly
fit into servers with 1 or 2 U.
Several ARC-1216 and ARC-1226 RAID controllers can be used simultaneously.

Tech Tip:
All RAID sets of any Areca controller are compatible with each other. When replacing the Areca controller, the existing data are directly available.
Application examples:
The ARC 1226-8x RAID controller is perfect in combination with the ARC-4038ML. The external Areca enclosure provides up to 8 x 12 Gbp s SAS, 6 Gbps SATA HDDs or SSDs. In conjunction with the Areca RAID controllers, it provides very high data transfer rates and reliability.
The Areca ARC-1226-8x RAID controller supports the current 10 TB hard drives. The rackmount enclosure NA341B from Netstor offers 8 HDD bays, so you can reach a total capacity up to 80 TB.
In combination with the ARC 1216-4x RAID controller Netstor`s NS370B provides optimal performance. The NS370B is a rackmount enclosure with four "hot-swap" drive bays.
