COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course aims to develop effective business communication among students through promoting:

·  theories and principles of business communication

·  communication practices in the world of business

·  written and oral business communicaton practises

COURSE DELIVERY

The course will be conducted in the following manner:

There will be two face-to face meetings in a semester during which students and lecturer meet to discuss issues pertaining to the course outline, course materials and assignments. The lecturer will also provide an overview of the course content and distribute assignment handouts. Tutorial sessions will be conducted at the respective centers where students will present speeches with the guidance from their respective tutor. Students are to submit their resume and job application assignments to the tutors. Attendance in tutorial classes is COMPLUSORY.
