Song Lyrics

ABC Song (from Imagine It!)

(Tune of traditional Alphabet Song)

A B C D E F G (CLAP)

H I J K L M N (CLAP)

O P Q (CLAP) R S T (CLAP)

U V W (dou-ble u) (CLAP)

X Y Z (CLAP)

Now I nev-er will forget,

How to say the al-pha-bet.

Clap Your Hands

(Tune of Row, Row, Row Your Boat)

Clap, clap, and clap your hands

As slowly as you can

Clap, clap, clap your hands

As quickly as you can

Continue substituting shake, roll, rub, wiggle your fingers and pound your fists.

On My Head (chant in rhythm as you perform the actions)

On my head my hands I place

On my shoulders,

On my face,

On my hips,

And at my side,

Then behind me they will hide.

I will hold them up so high,

Quickly make my fingers fly,

Hold them out in front of me,

Swiftly clap them---

One, two, three.

Jack Be Nimble

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick.

Jack jump over the candlestick.
