Present: Fr. Jim, Fr. Francisco, Jim O’Donnell, Teri Dwyer, John Piernikowski, Karen Sachs, Karen Roche, Ursula Boesch, Larry Boesch

Absent: Bo Fitzpatrick, Dave DeSalle, Mark Dirlam, Dan Garges, Fermin Gonzalez, Bob McCaffrey

-no February (or March) meeting (snow)

-April minutes approved

  1. Financial Discussion (Karen Roche)

-positive cash inflow (+300k; mostly due to Christmas collection; golf also higher)

-utilities savings

-expenses very close to budget

-healthy cash balance

-payables and assessments current

-debt down by 220k

-dramatic improvement from a few years ago

-collections outpacing budget by 12%

-building fund collection continues to come in

-average collection is hitting budget

-Easter collection on target

-mild concern about offertory going into summer season

-old assessments will be finished in August

-current budget plan will build reserves for unexpected items like roof

-Earth Day presentation on “Here Comes the Sun: How Can the Sun Help Save the Planet” attended by 15

-Rice Bowl collection yielded $4,493.76

-Bread for the World letter writing campaign will be held June 4-5; volunteers needed; Sign-Up Genius site will be set up
