WEEKDAY MASS: 10am Daily (including Saturday – 1st Saturday of the month).

The Mass on Saturday morning will be offered for the repose of the soul of Harold Lewis.

The Rosary is said before Mass each day during the week beginning at 9.40am.

MASSES NEXT WEEKEND:
Saturday Vigil 6pm; Sunday 10am

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION:
Saturday after morning Mass and after Vigil Mass.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Will take place each Tuesday from 10.30 - 11.30am and on Saturday (1st Saturday of the month), from after Mass until 4.30pm.

Tomorrow (Monday) is the Solemnity of
St Andrew, Patron of Scotland.

LARGS CHURCHES TOGETHER – ADVENT SERVICE will take place here in St Mary’s today (Sunday) at 3pm. All welcome. Tea in hall afterwards.

TEA/COFFEE in hall after 10am Mass today.

TEAS IN HALL: Next Sunday 6th December. There will be rolls and bacon/sausage on sale in the hall after Mass. Adults £2. This includes tea/coffee. Children £1 includes tea/juice. The proceeds go to our New Hall for All.

CHILDREN’S NATIVITY PLAY: Takes place on Sunday 21st December during Mass. Rehearsals after Mass today, 30th Nov. and 7th Dec. (11-12 noon). There will be a full dress rehearsal after Mass on Sunday, 14th December (11 – 1pm). Any questions call Sharon on 689212.

PARISH DIARIES – NEW HALL FOR ALL: Parish Diaries will be on sale THIS WEEKEND after both Masses. A member of the fundraising committee will be in the porch to sell them. Price £1. These diaries are funded by businesses in the town and are a great help towards our new hall.

WEEKLY COLLECTION LAST SUNDAY: £645.86. Thanks.

PRAYER FRIENDS: If you volunteered last Sunday to be a prayer friend for one of the children receiving Confirmation and First Communion and have not yet handed in your name on the card, please do so as soon as possible. 16 have been handed in, 4 more still to be returned.

ORDINATION OF NEW BISHOP: Fr William Nolan will be ordained Bishop of Galloway in the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock on Sat. 14th Feb. at 10am. More details later.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL: meet this Wednesday 3rd December at 7pm in the hall.

ADVENT HOUSE GROUP: Ten people have offered to take part. It will be held on Thursday nights at 7pm in Ron & Betty Bissett’s house. Thanks to Ron and Betty for offering their home.

THE FIRST SENIOR CITIZEN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY IN OUR NEW HALL will be held on Saturday 13th Dec. (seated for 12.30 p.m.) If you would like to attend please add name to the list in porch as soon as possible, indicating if transport is required.

SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR THE NEW HALL: Will be taken up NEXT WEEKEND. Gift-Aid envelopes are available on the seats today. Thanks for your continued support. Make cheques payable to

GALLOWAY DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES: 6th – 13th July 2015. By air from Prestwick. Booking forms in Chapel House. Poster in porch.

ST MARY’S PRIMARY CHRISTMAS FAYRE: Tuesday 2nd Dec. 3.30pm till 5.30pm. Various stalls including arts and crafts make by the children. Tickets £3 adult/£1.50 children and OAPs include ginger wine, mince pies and soup plus lottery draw.
Date for your diary: Christmas Nativity in the Church on Thursday 18th December at 6.30pm.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE: St Matthew’s Academy, Saltcoats, Saturday 6th Dec. 10am – 2pm. Usual stalls and activities. Something for everyone. Santa’s Grotto.

WARREN PARK CARE HOME: Christmas Fayre Sat. 6th Dec. 2pm – 4pm. Various stalls - free entry to all.

1ST LARGS BOYS’ BRIGADE – CHRISTMAS POST: Cards collected in all Churches on Sunday 7th Dec. then ‘Post Office’ will be open in St John’s Church Monday 8th – Friday 12th 10am to 12noon & 2pm to 4pm daily. Donation of 20p a card is asked, no calendars. Can also e3 handed in to Halliday’s Chemist or Superdrug.
Christmas Fayre: Sat. 6th Dec. Dunn Memorial 10am – 12noon.
