o Renewal of domain name for website – sjshsa.org is paid up until 2018
o Update on purchases with funds from Fall Fundraiser (fridge and computers) – Rich Hopkins
o Christmas Cookies for Neighbors Wrap Up Report– Jen Euteneuer and Christy Osborn and Amy Monaghan
o Enough cookies were collected after an email was sent out by the office to all families
o The neighbors and businesses are very appreciative – SJS received many thank yous.
o Meagan Richards to possibly replace Christy Osborn
o Catholic Schools Week Update – Skate Daze, Family Fun Night – Tracy Emrich
o Paper preorder forms were sent home
o Games are planned
§ TBOE is doing donuts after masses for Catholic Schools on 1/27
§ We will have “table tents” at each promoting HAS
o Field Days

· No response on ivolunteer for parents to help in nursery
· Many opportunities to be involved with school. Maybe not all parents will be able to attend
· If possible activiies can be sent home

o Spring Used Uniform Sale – March 7th - Jody Mendick & Barb Hilton

Home and school will include a flyer in the packet for parents with the information for the for potluck and used uniform sale
o New Family and Kindergarten Welcome Night in Early August
o There was a good turnout last year
o Tracy will check availability for the St James parish center
o Possible dates include 8/11 and 8/18
o Mrs Arnold and Mrs Theissen will speak at the potluck
o 8th grade volunteers could help outside with games for the kids

We continue to hear thanks expressed from the recipients of our "Christmas Cookies for Neighbors" campaign. Not only are the surrounding households appreciative, but we have heard from the Omaha Police Dept.-Northwest Precinct and EPS (Essential Pregnancy Services), just to name a few. The card from EPS stated, "More than having such yummy treats to munch on, we were so very touched that you would be so kind and thoughtful of us at such a busy, hectic time of year."
Thanks to all who supplied cookies and to those who helped deliver them. What a wonderful way to create goodwill among our neighbors!
