SRI E-NEWSLETTER VOL. 1 ISSUE 1

ACROSS THE NATION

JEFF KEMPER

SRI expects to experience growth in capability, competency, support and executive level staff and further improve efficiency in 2011. As the Director of Business Development for SRI, I am tasked to share the company’s mission of becoming a national leader in providing the public and private sector with high quality customer service, innovative software, auction experience, and Internet resources in the field of tax lien sales, foreclosure sales, asset liquidation sales, and consulting services with tax collectors, county treasurers, sheriffs, clerks, and other local government officials throughout the country. It is a task I am honored to perform.
SRI conducted 81 tax sales in four states in 2010 - the most in the company’s 21 year history. Moreover, as new divisions were added, such as Consulting Services, SRI has been able to assist local governments in new ways. Tim Jorczak, for example, is leading the way for electronic property tax billing in Indiana, a program that will save counties an average of 40 percent over the cost of paper and on postage. This program will further SRI’s goal of saving our local government clients money, improving efficiencies, and maximizing revenues.

The Sheriff (Foreclosure) Sale division also grew in 2010. At the end of 2010, SRI was conducting foreclosure sales in 22 counties, but now can boast 26. Our status as a “Preferred Vendor” of the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association in 2011 will certainly help us continue to grow, and expand our cost and time saving service to more Indiana county sheriffs in 2011. We look forward to serving our existing and new clients with the expertise and professional integrity for which we are known!

Asset Auctions Online, LLC (AAO) continues to build relationships across the nation, which encourages a greater pool of bidders and clients. Although this division has focused primarily on government sector business, this division is most poised for growth in other areas in Indiana and Florida, as well as expansion into other states in 2011. AAO has also opened a Florida office in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, and now has a full time representative in that area, Dennis Munhall.

In 2010, SRI joined the following associations:

Indiana Association of County Highway Engineers and Supervisors

Indiana Manufacturing Association

Indiana Association of Cities and Towns

Indiana Chamber of Commerce

In Colorado, SRI hosted four internet Tax Lien Sales with great success! I am scheduled to attend the Colorado County Treasurers’ Association and Public Trustee Association of Colorado conference from February 14-16. SRI will be sponsoring a luncheon for the county treasurer and trustee attendees of the conference. We look forward to meeting more Centennials in 2011!

In 2011, SRI looks forward to facing new opportunities proposed by both our clients, the legislature and other entities served by SRI. SRI’s leadership boasts 2011 as the year to reach across the nation to provide clients and customers with the best experience where Tax Sales, Commissioner Sales, Foreclosure Sales, Asset Auctions and Consulting Services are concerned!
