We encourage all students who are interested in high school interscholastic sports to tryout. Previous experience ina sport may be helpful, however, is not

required to tryout. A coach’s assessment may include technical skills, tactical skills, attitude, effort, motivation, potentialand grade level. The goal of the

coach/staff is to place student athletes in the best situation, for both individual development and team success.

We trust that you are getting excited for the upcoming Winter Sports Season and are preparing your body physically for the demandsof your sport.

Remember, your fitness level may assist you in executing the skills the coach is teaching, and also enhance your abilityto comprehend the information your coach is

sharing with you. In addition, your level of fitness may help eliminate the potential foran injury. Any conditioning should be done under the supervision

and direction of your parents and/or trainer, and should notbe attempted until your physician has cleared you.
