Kids Club – Spring 2014

The Springfield Park Elementary School PTA is pleased to be sponsoring the KIDS CLUB program for our students. Kids Club will be offered over a six-week period from February 6, 2014 through March 13, 2014. All classes will be held on Thursdays from 2:15 to 3:30p.m. Students will be dismissed directly to their assigned Kids Club room where they will have a snack from 2:15 to 2:30.

We will be hosting a Kids Club Registration Night on Tuesday, January 21 from

5:30-6:30 p.m. . Registration will be held in the Springfield Park CAVE. (This is the room found directly past the library.) Class sizes are limited and students will be enrolled on a first come, first served basis. A completed registration form, parent volunteer form and check are needed at the time of registration. Parents will be responsible for fees incurred from any returned checks. Parents may only register their own children and children from one other family (neighbor, friend, etc). Please Note: ALL CHECKS should be made payable to the INSTRUCTOR as listed, NOT the PTA. ALL FORMS should be filled out COMPLETELY. ONLY adults listed on the registration form as either “Parent(s)/Guardian(s) or as “authorized to pick up your child” will be allowed to sign out a student from kids club.

All parents are strongly encouraged to register Tuesday evening to minimize the confusion and administrative duties involved with coordinating Kids Club.

In the event that a class does not fill up during the registration times, parents will be given an opportunity to register their children between Wednesday, January 22nd and Tuesday, January 28th. NO registrations will be accepted after January 28, 2013. Available classes will be listed on the PTA website. Parents will need to fill out the Kids Club Registration Form and the Parent Volunteer Form and return it with a check made payable to the INSTRUCTOR as listed, NOT the PTA. Return both completed forms and the check in an envelope marked “Kids Club” to your child’s teacher by Tuesday, January 28, 2013. If a class must be cancelled due to lack of interest, parents will be notified prior to the start of the program and given the opportunity to register for a different class.

Our Parent Volunteers are very important to the success of our program. Please sign up to help for at least one of the weeks listed. If you can devote any additional time, it is greatly appreciated.
