Goals: Learn to play hockey the right way! Fast, fun and focused. The clinic will be taught by a professional staff of college coaches and players. Focus will be on developing skills, hockey sense systems. All sessions will be high intensity and up tempo. For the serious player only!

Players: This clinic is offered in two sessions ages 7-12. Games will be adjusted to player’s ability. All players should have full equipment. Each session will be limited to 30 skaters and 4 goalies on a first come, first serve basis.

Location and time: All sessions will take place at the Valley Forum II in Malden, MA. Sessions will run from 4-6 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday will be from 3-5 PM.

Program: On ice focus will be on skills, systems and conditioning the first hour each day and small games the second hour. Small games include 3-3 in zone, 4-2 in zone, 2-2 center ice, Russian full ice, etc. Drills are all college and pro level.

Staff: Staff will include professional college coaches along with both pro and college players. The staff will also include a certified athletic trainer as well as an experienced goalie coach.

John Burgess- John will serve as co-director and is currently the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach at Suffolk University. A former goalie at Norwich University, John has been a coach at the high school, junior and college level for the last 24 years. He works full time as a physical education teacher in Cambridge.

Chris Glionna – Chris will serve as the co-director and is currently entering his eleventh season as the Head Hockey Coach at Suffolk University. Chris is the all-time winningest hockey coach in program history with 87 career victories. He was named the ECAC Northeast Hockey Coach of the Year during 2009-2010 season.

Cost: Cost for the week which includes 10 full hours of on ice instruction, is $200checks made out to Ram Hockey. All players will receive a t-shirt. Again, both clinics are limited to 30 skaters and 4 goalies on a first come, first serve basis.

Liability Release

I am the parent or legal guardian of the above named participant. My child participant has my permission to fully participate in the Ram Hockey Clinic. I understand and accept the fact that injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence in the sport ofice hockey. Wherefore, on behalf of my child participant, I hereby release, forever discharge, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the Ram Hockey Clinic, it’s coaching staff, John Burgess, Chris Glionna and Suffolk University from any and all liability, claims and demands for personal injury (medical or dental), sickness or death,as well as property damages and expenses, of any nature which may be incurred by my child while participating in the Ram Hockey Clinic. I also confirm that my child participant has personal medical insurance and that any expenses incurred while at the clinic is my responsibility. In case of emergency, I understand every attempt will be made to contact the person listed. If contact is unsuccessful, I give permission to the attending medical personnel to render medical treatment to my child. I am signing this release freely and of my own accord, realizing it is binding upon myself, my child participant and my heirs and assigns.

All receipts are sent via e-mail. If you do not provide an e-mail address, please use your cancelled check as a receipt. Our refund policy for those who cannot attend is to return $100 before July 30, 2015$100 is non-refundable.
