The 2016-2017 school year yielded the most points by individual student-anglers and school fishing teams in Scholastic Anglers history. Though it just ended, it is that time of year to prepare for the 2017-2018 school year and Scholastic Anglers Season. Scholastic Anglers is a complete Federal 501 (c) (3) (Tax ID #: 26-0735783) non-profit educational organization. With this in mind, we need your support for the 2017-2018 Scholastic Anglers Season, the Scholastic Anglers Challenge, the Scholastic Anglers Workshop Series, the Scholastic Anglers Tournament Series, the Scholastic Anglers Championship, the newly implemented Scholastic Anglers Classic, and our many tournaments, workshops, activities, events, and public appearances throughout the academic year. Scholastic Anglers is a free, open invitation for all student-anglers enrolled in school in grades six through twelve. For the upcoming school year, we are continuing two exclusive sponsorships!
For fifteen years, Scholastic Anglers has experienced tremendous success touching, changing, and enriching the lives of each student-angler involved both on the water and in the classroom. It is that time of year and we are asking for your support. As always, we are in need of Sponsorships. All tax deductible contributions go directly to support the Scholastic Anglers cause…sharing this great sport! This past school year, we made interscholastic sport fishing available to just over one hundred forty student-anglers! For the upcoming school year, we are striving to involve even more student-anglers and add some new schools! Our goals are to provide great outdoor education and competition, to increase school spirit and school pride, to promote parental and the broader community involvement, to create memories for a lifetime, and to generate new rivalries and long lasting traditions. Each of these goals is to provide the best interscholastic sport fishing education and competition possible for each and every student-angler to experience. We have our normal three sponsorship levels from which to choose and we hope to earn your support for this effort.
Scholastic Anglers is seeking 2017-2018 Academic Year Sponsors. For a $300.00 contribution, please consider supporting this effort for the entire academic year! We are also in need of Semester Sponsors. For a $150.00 contribution you can support our program for the Fall 2017 or Spring 2018 semester. In addition, we are in need of Grading Period Sponsors. For a $50.00 contribution, you can support our program for a six-week grading period. Over the years, Scholastic Anglers has developed several award categories. Your support helps to fund trophies, prizes, and awards for the Scholastic Anglers School Of The Year, the Scholastic Angler Of The Year, and the Scholastic Anglers Elite Eight plus the equipment, refreshments, and supplies needed to carry out this exciting program. Should you opt for the Grading Period Sponsor or Semester Sponsor levels, please consider continuing to support this cause as the academic year progresses. New for the 2017-2018 school year, we are seeking an overall Scholastic Anglers Challenge Presiding Sponsor and a Scholastic Anglers Classic Champion Title Sponsor! Each of these two exclusive sponsorships are more in cost, but they both will have that special positive impact on each and every student-angler.
