Entry Fees:
$10 NON-RETURNABLE APPLICATION FEE
This fee will hold a position for the contestant and must be mailed with the application.
Each age division is limited to the FIRST 30 Entries.
$100 SPONSOR FEE
Includes Gown, Casual, and Photogenic Competitions and pageant T-shirt.
Also includes two complimentary tickets for contestant’s dressing room assistants.
Sponsors will be listed in the program and announced during eachphase of competition.
Contestants may be sponsored by businesses, organizations, family members, etc.
Sponsor Fee is due by Parent’s Meeting Night, March 30th.
AWARDS
- ALL Contestants will receive a PRINCESS TROPHY and qualify for the state “Tiny Miss” pageant.
- Each age division WINNER will receive a TROPHY, CROWN, $250SAVINGS BOND, and a SATIN MONOGRAMED BANNER.
- WINNERS will also receive $275.00 registration fee to attend the Tiny Miss Virginia State Pageant held July22nd – July 25thand a complimentary ticket to a Miss Virginia Pageant prelim. in June.
- First through Fourth Runner-Ups will receive a Trophy.
- Congeniality, Photogenic, and Outgoing Personality Awards with trophies, crowns and banners.

Competition Descriptions
Casual Wear Competition – All contestants will model a casual / school wear outfit that is age appropriate. Casual wear is not a vogue or glitzy outfit and no interview suits. This will be modeled prior to the gown competition. Contestants will be judged on beauty, appearance, poise, grace, personality, projection and modeling. All age divisions will have an age appropriate on stage question during casual wear competition.
Gown Competition – Mini, Tiny and Petite contestants may model a short or long gown, whichever the contestant prefers. Pre-Teen and Teen contestants should wear a long, age appropriate gown, flattering to them. Remember to look your age!! Judging based on Beauty (Facial Beauty, Features, Makeup, Hair), Smile (Projection and Naturalness), Modeling (Poise, Carriage, Posture, Grace), and Overall Appearance (Neatness, Appropriate Attire, Shoes, Overall Fit/length). Photogenic Competition – Contestants must submit ONE photo of themselves at the pageant meeting held March 30th. Do not mail photos. This photo may be color or black and white, and should be no larger than 8x10. All photos will be entered into the Photogenic Competition and will be used for printing the programs. Results from this competition will not figure into the overall scoring of the pageant. The Photogenic Judges will not be the same judges used for the pageant competition. The photo should reflect the contestant’s photogenic potential. Photos can be made by the contestant’s choice of photographer and will be returned at the end of the pageant.
Miss Outgoing Personality – This is an optional competition, not related to the crowning of our “Greater Miss” Queens. Each age division will have a Miss Outgoing Personality winner and four runners-up. Winners will receive a trophy and banner. Runners-up will receive a trophy. This competition is based on a contestant’s social skills. The contestants collecting the most signatures at a cost of $1.00 each will be named the winners.
Miss Congeniality – Each age division will have a winner selected by a vote of the contestants in her age division. The winner will receive a trophy and banner. All contestants are eligible.
Personal Ad Pages – Each contestant will be given the opportunity to sell a limit of TWO full page ads which may feature a picture(s) of her at a cost of $50 per page. Personal Ad pages can be sponsored by family and/or businesses.
INFORMATIONAL MEETING: March 30th at the Rocky Mount Municipal Building
6:00 PM for Mini and Tiny Contestants and 7:30 PM for Petite, Pre-Teen, and Teen Contestants.
Sponsor Fee and Photo due at the Parent’s Meeting. Contestant numbers will be drawn at this time.

Contestant and Parent Code of Conduct
As a winner of a “Tiny Miss” Greater Franklin County title, I agree not to compete in any other “Tiny Miss” or similar type pageants during my year of service without the approval of my pageant committee. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of my title.
Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. The committee reserves the right to disqualify a contestant if behavior by the contestant, parent, or guest is deemed inappropriate. If any such unsportsmanlike displays are reported by observers and these reports are supported by witnesses, then the parent and their child may be banned from competing in or attending future “Tiny Miss” pageants for a period of one year. This rule has been approved by Gail Jones, director of the Tiny Miss Virginia Pageant, and any decision made by the pageant committee will also be discussed with and enforced by the State Director.
I release the pageant director, pageant staff and the Franklin County School System from any responsibility due to the loss of personal property, illness, or accident.
