2014 “Harmonic Employment Relationship at Home" Cooking Competition

Constitution
Purpose: Aim for improving the communication and creating a good employment relationship between employers and domestic helpers, promoting a healthy cooking culture and building abetter qualityof life

Qualification: Local employers and their domestic helpers
Venue: No. 27 Ferry Street,Women's Integrated Services Building,5 Floor
Date: 26 October 2014 (Sunday)
Competition and awarding time: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
Evaluation: Judges are invited by organizer

Format of the Competition:
※ One family as a unit, it should be composed of one domestic helper and at least one employer (Three person are the maximum per unit and each participant must be over 15 years old);

Grading:
※Presentation, smell, taste for dishes 25%, concept of healthy food 25%, cooperativeness 20%, creativity 15% and decoration 15%.

Prizes:
※First prize of MOP3,000 (Shared by employer and domestic helper, the same applied to all prizes)

※Second prize of MOP2,000

※Third prize of MOP1,000
※ Merit awards: several units with prize of MOP500

※Judges’ awards: several units with prize of MOP200
※The best dish naming award: one unit with prize of MOP500

※The best understanding award: one unit with prize of MOP500

Competition Rules:
For the Cooking Section
1.Kitchenutensils, food containers, ingredients and seasonings should be self-prepared;

2.Mop 200 of ingredient cost would be responded by organizer,and keep the receipt. Candidateswho over the budgetshould afford the exceeding cost and marks will be deducted;
3. The cooking time is 30 minutes. Candidates should be prepare a dish(for 5 persons);
4.The organizer will provided the gas store, but there is no space and equipment for storage of food before the competition.
5. Candidates are required to preparethe ingredients in advance, such as cleaning and cutting.
