The Washington Connection Benefit Portal is a single-point access link for resources and services within the state of Washington and your local community. While DSHS services are included, there is also a wide variety of other state, city, county and local community resources available. This portal streamlines the process of connecting people with benefits and services.

  1. Visit and click on the “See if I Qualify” tab.
  2. Within 5-8 minutes you will have a list of services that you potentially qualify for.
  3. Apply for any or all of the programs listed right there on the portal.
  4. Examples of programs, services, and resources available:
  • Legal services
  • Apple Healthy for Kids
  • Food
  • Child care subsidies
  • Medical assistance
  • Drug and alcohol treatment

Early Intervention Services:

Children aged 3 and Up:

Parents can call the child’s school district’s mainoffice for information on the available programs and servicesor see below. All services are free. Services include a free developmental evaluation and intervention services if a child qualifies based on an identified delay from the evaluation. A doctor’s referral is not required, only a parent’s concern for their child’s development.
