Splash Pad Rules and Regulations

  • ALL Persons must conduct themselves in a courteous, safe and family-oriented manner. The use of profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures will result in the removal from the park and Splash Pad.
  • The maximum number of users allowed on the Splash Pad is 50.
  • Children 11 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
  • Swim diapers are required for all children under 4 years of age. Regular or disposable diapers will not be allowed.
  • Proper Swim Attire must be worn at all times – no cutoffs, gym clothes, dress shorts, thongs or transparent colored suits allowed.
  • Sandals or water shoes are recommended. No Sneakers, Cleats or Boots allowed.
  • Spitting or nose blowing is prohibited on Splash Pad.
  • Persons with diarrhea or nausea will not be permitted on Splash Pad.
  • Persons with skin, eye or respitory infections will not be permitted on the Splash Pad.
  • Persons with open lesions or wounds will not be permitted on the Splash Pad.
  • Food and/or beverages of any kind are not allowed on the Splash Pad
  • No Glass Containers or breakable objects are allowed in the park or on the Splash Pad
  • No dogs/pets are allowed in the park or on the Splash Pad.
  • No skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters allowed on the Splash Pad.
  • No swinging, hanging, climbing or pulling on Splash Pad equipment allowed
  • Athletic equipment, balls, bats, beach balls, noodles, toys, etc are not allowed on Splash Pad.
  • Running and Horseplay are prohibited on the Splash Pad.
  • Water guns and water balloons are not permitted.
  • No person under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be allowed in the park or on the Splash Pad.
  • No use of tobacco products or e-cigarettes allowed in park or on Splash Pad.
  • No Consumption of Alcohol allowed in park or on the Splash Pad.
  • Tents or Umbrellas are not permitted to be erected in any section of the park or Splash Pad.
  • No weapons allowed on park or in Splash Pad.
  • No pre-recorded music with amplification is allowed.
  • Splash Pad and park will be closed in the event of inclement weather or when conditions call for thunder and lightning.
  • The Village of Blasdell reserves the right to remove participants for violating any of the above rules or engaging in illegal, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior at any time without a refund.

Private Rentals

A $100.00 refundable security deposit will be required for all rentals

  • Rentals include exclusive use of the Park, Splash Pad and Picnic Shelter and the Splash Pad Supervisor.
  • Rentals must be booked at least fifteen days in advance and paid in full at time of booking.
  • In the event of inclement weather: If there has been less than 30 minutes of Splash Pad use, the event will be rescheduled. If there has been less than one hour of use a refund will be given based on percentage of use.
  • Light decorations are allowed in picnic shelter only and be listed and pre-approved during the reservation process.
  • No grills or cooking allowed.
  • Renter must be 21 years or older
  • Adult Supervision required at all times. The individual hosting the party and/or authorized agent will be held responsible for the care, supervision and conduct of their guests and are expected to review and enforce all Rules of the Splash Pad and Playground equipment.
  • No storage of party items or food stuffs is available.
  • No bounce houses, climbing walls, dunk tanks, pony rides, food vendors or food trucks, petting zoos, DJ’s or live music etc. will be allowed.
  • Size of party cannot exceed 50 people.
  • The Village of Blasdell reserve the right to suspend a scheduled party in the event that the group is in noncompliance within this policy and/or it proves disruptive to the neighborhood and/or is causing a negative impact to the park or Splash Pad.
