II. Old Business

A. (120116-7) The Town of Houlton ordains the Lease Agreement between the Town of Houlton and Ammex Warehouse Company, Inc., for a term of twenty (20) years, for property located at Airport Drive, for an annual amount of $1,600 for the first and second lease years of the term and continuing throughout the remainder of the term the annual rent shall be increased by 2% over the prior lease year’s rent.

A. (010117-1) Council approves execution of the application to the Department of Public Safety by O’Kelly’s Irish Pub, located at 241 North Street, for renewal of their liquor license.

B. (010117-2) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of the Town Manager as Airport Director and Emergency Management Director for the Town of Houlton.

C. (010117-3) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Milton J. Cone as Ambulance Director for the Town of Houlton.

D. (010117-4) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Milton J. Cone as Fire Chief for the Town of Houlton.

EHHh . (010117-5) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Milton J. Cone as Cemetery Superintendent for the Town of Houlton.

F. (010117-6) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Marie F. Carmichael as Parks and Recreation Director for the Town of Houlton.

G. (010117-7) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Nancy P. Ketch as Community Development Director for the Town of Houlton.

H. (010117-8) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Christopher J. Stewart as Public Works Director for the Town of Houlton.

I. (010117-9) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Kevin A. Tingley as Code Enforcement Officer for the Town of Houlton.

J. (010117-10) The Town of Houlton ordains establishment of a Tax Increment Financing Development District to be designated Brenda Brown Municipal Development Program and Financing District and authorizes the Town Manager to sign all documents pertaining to said District.

K. (010117-11) Council accepts the donation of $60.00 in memory of Athlyn Titcomb to be used by the Ambulance Department.

L. (010117-12) Council authorizes the Town Manager to waive the bid process and purchase a 2016 Ford Explorer SUV Demo for $26,300 from Quirk of Augusta, Maine. The Town Manager certifies said purchase is in the best interest of the Town. (Note: This vehicle replaces the Police Ford F150 pick-up that was a total loss by the insurance company - Total insurance amount to be received is $27,828.

M. (010117-13) The Town of Houlton ordains the addition of Article V General and Supplementary Regulations, Sec. 42 Recreational Marijuana Commercial Facilities to the Houlton Zoning Ordinance.
