Hello and Welcome to the South and West Wales OnBoard Festival.

On behalf of RYA Cymru Wales, Acorn Adventures and Llangorse Sailing Club I would like to extend our thanks for attending this event. The following information should hopefully give you an insight as to what will be happening this weekend. If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to ask!

Event info

·  Registration on Friday evening between 17.30 and 19.30

·  Registration on Saturday morning between 08.30 and 09.30

·  Competitor Briefing for both sailors and windsurfers at 10:15 on Saturday morning at the Basketball Court, Acorn Site.

·  Sailing Main Alpha Fleet includes: Main Optimists (Silver and Gold) and Main Toppers (Silver and Gold)and Main General Handicap

·  Sailing OB Regatta Bravo Fleet includes: OB Oppi Bats, OB Oppi Training, OB Topper Training and OB General Handicap.

·  OnBoard Bravo Fleet to meet OB Head Coach at 10:25 for course descriptions, rigging and general help before going afloat for racing.

·  Windsurf Fleet to meet Windsurf Coaches at 10.25 for course descriptions, rigging and general help before going afloat for racing.

·  Alpha fleet launch at 11.00

·  Bravo fleet launch after Main fleet

·  First Alpha fleet race planned start 11.30 (warning signal at 11:25)

·  Windsurf launch at the discretion of the coaches.

·  Sailing Main, Sailing OB and windsurfer fleets will come ashore for lunch.

·  Afternoon Racing

Sunday

·  09.30 OB Bravo and windsurf fleet meet coaches at basketball court, Acorn Site

·  09.30 Main Alpha fleet launch

·  9.45 OB Bravo Fleet launch and proceed to race area.

·  9.45 Windsurf Fleet launch at discretion of coaches.

·  First Alpha fleet race start 10.00 (warning signal at 09.55)

Additionally there are a number of coaches on hand all day to help on the water and on land. Should you have any problems with rigging or any questions then please do not hesitate to ask them.
