Team and Individual Show Jumping Competition

Held at West Park Equestrian Centre, Tow Law, Bishop Auckland, DL13 4NR

Tuesday 25thth October starting at 9.30am, open to non-pony club members and adults.

All classes can be entered as a Team of three or four persons, with the three best scores counting. You may also enter as an individual. Team members will automatically be entered into the individual competition at no extra cost.

Class 1 55cm, second round a minimum of 4 jumps will be 60cm

Class 2 65cm, second round a minimum of 4 jumps will be 70cm

Class 3 75cm, second round a minimum of 4 jumps will be 80cm

Class 4 85cm, second round a minimum of 4 jumps will be 90cm

Class 5 95cm, second round a minimum of 4 jumps will be 1m

Class 6 1m, second round a minimum of 4 jumps will be 105cm

Rosettes to 4th Place.

Entries fees are £48 (team of 4) £36 (team of 3) or £12 for an individual entry.

Closing date for receipt of entries is Friday 21st October approximate class start times will be posted on the main South Durham website Sunday 23rd October. No entries on the day.

RULES

*No skipping out on the car park. Please make sure all litter and droppings are removed including the car park and warm up arena.

*We would prefer that dogs were not brought to the event

*No lead rein entries accepted

*Teams or individuals may enter a maximum of two classes on the same horse/pony.

*All classes run under PC Show Jumping Rules 2015 - two rounds, second round timed.

*Hats must be worn at all times. PC Members must abide by PC hat rule (11) and hats need to be tagged.

*No nickel bits or irons to be used.

*Ponies/horses must be tacked up properly and riders smartly dressed for all classes.

*Medical cover at our events complies with PC rules

*We reserve the right to refuse entries from those we feel are over qualified/or entered the wrong class.

*Maximum height of jumps in practice ring will be no higher than the class being jumped.

*Judges decisions are final; any objections must be accompanied by a deposit of £10 that will be refunded if the objection is upheld within 30 minutes of the class finishing. *Results will be posted for 30minutes before any prize giving.

All competitors and owners of horses/ponies take part in this event at their own risk. It is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches itself to the organisers or landowners with respect to loss, damage, accident, injury or illness however caused. If you are not a member of the pony club, you are strongly recommended to have your own insurance cover for at least 3rd party liability.
