Who Can Apply?
Any Undergraduate student at the University of Colorado, Denver is eligible to apply for the Student Leaders Initiating Change Program.
What does it take to be SLIC?
SLIC students need to take an active part in earning their certificate. We expect students to come to workshops with an open mind and a willingness to be challenged. SLIC students are excited and committed to the program!
Why Apply?
The SLIC program is dedicated to the advancement and development of leadership skills in all students. These skills will enhance the academic experience thus making students well rounded, marketable and informed community leaders.

How to Apply
Students interested in joining SLIC need to fill out an application by the following deadlines. Applications for Fall 2010 are accepted until 5pm on Friday August 27, 2010. Applications for Spring 2011 are accepted until Friday December 10, 2010. There is no application fee.
What is the Application Process?
Once your application has been submitted to the SLIC office, the SLIC staff will review your application and notify you of your acceptance within a week.
When can I start?
We accept students at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.
Required Events
In addition to attending the workshops needed to complete your chosen certificate, ALL SLIC students are required to attend the Kick Off on September 3, 2010 and the End of Year event on April 29, 2010.
