Introduction:

Business world often describes Six Sigma asa highly technical method used by engineersand statisticians to fine-tune products andservices. Another school defines Six Sigmaas pursuing a goal near-perfection in meetingcustomer requirements by achieving 3.4defects per million opportunities (DPMO).Culture change is also a valid way todescribe Six Sigma. Motorola puts a lot ofemphasis on cultural change such asbreaking down the white space betweendepartments, employee empowerment, etc.

This course is designed for Directors andManagers working directly with Black Beltsand Green Betts on Six Sigma Projects. It isassumed they come from differentbackgrounds and disciplines and will beworking on a variety of projects across thecompany.
