This competition is an multinational Children Open Competition

(a Non-Qualifying Competition)

ELIGIBILITY

This event is considerated as a non-qualifying Interclub competition for youngsters categories ( single skating ) associated with FSGT rules. All clubs which are members of National Figure Skating Federations associated with the I.S.U are invited to take part in this event . In case of to manyentries the organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants.

OUR GOALS

•to popularize and cultivate amateur figure skating;

•to draw the public attention and organizations to the amateur level of figure skating;

•to inform all those concerned and interested in the amateur figure skating about the possibility to learn and master your figure skating skills at any age and any level;

•to inform of the possibility for any figure skater to participate in these types of events.

•to stimulate the interest and development of other children amateur figure skating clubs,

•to communicate and to know more about figure skating traditions in other countries.

The competition consists from 2 events:

1 – Free skating program

2 – Artistic program

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FREE SKATING PROGRAM
  • Programs must be balanced in terms ofdifficulty andartistic impression.
  • Elements of a program must correspond to the level declared by a skater. Elements above the announced level are not taken into account and do not influence on the impression of a skating.
  • The requirements for the programs for each level are the following:

There are two levels to this event. Levels B and A.

B- level is for skaters who train less than 3 times a week – members of amateur groups. Members of amateur groups enter Level 1-11. The organizer may combine age groups in case there are fewer than 3 skaters in a category.B events will be divided with age categories: ( 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17 ) on competition’s day.

A- level is for skaters who train more than 4 times – members of sport groups

  • Cubs Level born in 2003-2004 ( 8-9 yrs old )( Basic Novice A ProgramModified )

Controlling the birth dates of the skaters:

In accordance with the rules a personnel document for each skater must be submitted at registration. The athletes are allowed to participate only in the categories available with reference to their birth date ( year ). If less than 3 participants in one category , age categories may be combined.

GROUP “B” level is for skaters who train less than 3 times a week

Stage 1 — “Beginner Skater”

Program duration = 2.00 ±10 sec. Components factor = 4.0.

Only 2 program components are estimated: Skating Skills and Performance / Execution.

Free Program consists of:

– Waltz 3-turn + Waltz jumpperformed 2 times in a row. For this category the Waltz jump is considered as a Listed jump (1W) with the base value 0.2 (for GOE=-1 the value is 0.1; for GOE=-2, -3 the value 0; for GOE=+1, +2, +3 the value is 0.3);

–1 spin in only one position without change of foot (min. 3 revs). A 2-foot spin is allowed. A change of foot in a spin and a flying entrance are forbidden;

– at least1 choreo-sequence (ChSq), covering at least 1/2 of ice surface.

Stage 2 — “Young Skater” — Basic

Duration of a program = 2.20 + 10. Components factor = 4.0.

Only 2 program components are estimated: Skating Skills and Performance / Execution.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum3 jump elements. A programmay contain1 jump combination/sequencethatmayinclude maximum 3 jumps. In jumps sequence only 2 the most difficult jumps are estimated. Only 1 jumpmay be repeated in jump combo/sequence. For this category the Waltz jump is considered as a Listed jump (1W) with the base value 0.2 (for GOE=-1 the value is 0.1; for GOE=-2, -3 the value 0; for GOE=+1, +2, +3 the value is 0.3). The half loop (Euler) jump is permitted, but only in a jump combo/sequence (evaluated as Loop). The Loop, Flip, Lutz, single Axel jumps and any jumps with more than 1 revolutions are forbidden;

–1 spin in only one position without change of foot (min. 3 revs). A change of foot in a spin and a flying entrance are forbidden;

–at least1 choreo-sequence (ChSq), covering not less than 2/3 of ice surface.

Stage 3 — “Young Skater” — Advanced

Duration of a program = 2.30 + 10. Components factor = 4.0.

Only 3 program components are estimated: Skating Skills, Performance / Execution, Interpretation of the music.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum4 jump elementsthatmust include at least 1 single Loop jump.

A program may include only1 jump combinations or sequences (not more than 3 jumps). Only 1 jumpmay be repeated in jump combo/sequence. The Flip, Lutz, single Axel jumps and any jumps with more than 1 revolutions are forbidden;

–1 spin in only one position without change of foot (min. 3 revs). A change of foot in a spin and a flying entrance are forbidden;

–at least1 choreo-sequence (ChSq), covering not less than 2/3 of ice surface.

Stage 4 — 3 Youthful Sport Category — Basic

Duration of a program = 2.30 + 10. Components factor = 2.5.

Only 3 program components are estimated: Skating Skills, Performance / Execution, Interpretation of the music.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum4 jump elementsthatmust include at least 1 single Loop jump.

A program may include up to2 jump combinations or sequences, one jump combomay include maximum 3jumps, a second combo may includemaximum 2 jumps. A jump sequence mayinclude any number of jumps, but only the two jumps with the highest values will count.Only 1 jumpmay be repeated in jump combo/sequence. Axel, Lutz and any jumps with more than 1 revolutions are forbidden;

– maximum 2 spins, one of whichmust be a spin combination without change of foot (min. 6 revs total) and onemust be aspin in one position without change of foot (min. 5 revs). A flying entrance in a spin is forbidden;

–at least1 choreo-sequence (ChSq), covering the entire ice surface.

Stage 5 — 3 Youthful Sport Category — Advanced

Duration of a program = 2.30 + 10. Components factor = 2.5.

Only 3 program components are estimated: Skating Skills, Performance / Execution, Interpretation of the music.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum4 jump elementsthatmust include thesingle Loop jump.

A program may include up to2 jump combinations or sequences, one jump combo mayincludemaximum 3jumps, a second combo may includemaximum 2jumps. A jump sequence mayinclude any number of jumps, but only the two jumps with the highest values will count.Only 1 jumpmay be repeated in jump combo/sequence. Any jumps with more than 1.5 revolutions are forbidden;

– maximum 2 spins, one of whichmust be a spin combination with a change of foot (minimum 6 revs total) and one must be spin in one position without change of foot (minimum 5 revs). A flying entrance in a spin is forbidden;

–at least1 choreo-sequence (ChSq), covering the entire ice surface.

Stage 6 — 2 Youthful Sport Category — Basic

Duration of a program = 2.50 + 10. Components factor = 2.0.

Only 4 program components are estimated: Skating Skills, Transition / Linking Footwork, Performance / Execution, Interpretation of the music.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum5 jump elementsthatmust include thesingle Axel jump (1A)and at least 1 double jumps, but not more than 2 double jumps.

A program may include up to2 jump combinations or sequences. One jump combo mayincludemaximum 3jumps, a second combo may includemaximum 2jumps. A jump sequence mayinclude any number of jumps, but only the two jumps with the highest values will count.Only 1 jumpmay be repeated in jump combo/sequence. Double Flip (2F), double Lutz (2Lz) and any jumps with more than 2 revolutions are forbidden;

– maximum 2 spins, one of whichmust be a spin combination with a change of foot (minimum 10 revs total) and one must be spin in one position without change of foot (minimum 6 revs). A flying entrance in a spin is forbidden;

–at least1 choreo-sequence (ChSq), covering the entire ice surface.

Stage 7 — 2 Youthful Sport Category — Advanced

Duration of a program = 2:50 + 10. Components factor = 2.0.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum 5 jump elementsthatmust include the Single Axel jump (1A) and at least 2 double jumps.

A program may include up to2 jump combinations or sequences. One jump combo mayincludemaximum 3jumps, a second combo may includemaximum 2jumps. A jump sequence mayinclude any number of jumps, but only the two jumps with the highest values will count.Only 1 jump may be repeated in a jump combo/sequence. Double Lutz (2Lz) and any jumps with more than 2 revolutions are forbidden;

– maximum 2 spins, one of whichmust be a spin combination with a change of foot (minimum 10 revs total) and onemust be spin in one position without change of foot with optional flying entrance (minimum 6 revs);

–at least1 choreo-sequence (ChSq), covering the entire ice surface.

Stage 8 — 1 Youthful Sport Category — Basic

Duration of a program = 3.00 + 10. Componentsfactor = 1.6.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum 6 jump elementsthatmust include the Single Axel jump (1A) and at least 3 different double jumps.

A program may include up to2 jump combinations or sequences. One jump combo mayincludemaximum 3jumps, a second combo may includemaximum 2jumps. A jump sequence mayinclude any number of jumps, but only the two jumps with the highest values will count.Only 2 jump with 2 revs may be repeated in a jump combo/sequence. The jumps with more than 2 revolutions are forbidden;

Stage 9 — 1 Youthful Sport Category — Advanced

Duration of a program = 3.00 + 10. Components factor = 1.6.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum 6 jump elementsthatmust include the Single or Double Axel jump (1A or 2A) and at least 3 different double jumps.

A program may include up to2 jump combinations or sequences. One jump combo mayincludemaximum 3jumps, a second combo may includemaximum 2jumps. A jump sequence mayinclude any number of jumps, but only the two jumps with the highest values will count.Only 2 jump with 2 revs may be repeated in a jump combo/sequence. The jumps with more than 2.5 revolutions are forbidden;

– maximum 2 spins, one of whichmust be a spin combination with a change of foot (minimum 10 revs total) and onemust be spin in one position with optional flying entrance (minimum 6 revs);

–at least1 choreo-sequence (ChSq), covering the entire ice surface.

Stage 10 — 2 Sport Category

Free Program

Duration of the free program:

Girls = 3.00 + 10, components factor = 1.6.Boys = 3.30 + 10, components factor = 2.0.

Free Program consists of:

– maximum 6 jump elementsfor girls and7 jump elementsfor boys, whichmust include anAxel type jump. Theremust beat least4 different jumps with 2 or more revolutions;

– a programmust include up to2 jump combinations or sequences, one jump combomustconsist of2 double jumps. Any jump combinationmustinclude only 2 jumps. A jump sequence mayinclude any number of jumps, but only the two jumps with the highest values will count.Only 2 jumps with 2.5 or more revolutions may be repeated in jump combo/sequence;

– maximum 2 spins, one of whichmust be a spin combination with a change of foot (minimum 10 revs total) and onemust be a flying spin or a spin with a flying entrance (minimum 6 revs);

–maximum1 step sequence (with level).

Stage 11 — 1 Sport Category

Free Program

Duration of the free program:

Girls = 3.30 + 10, components factor = 1.6.Boys = 4.00 + 10, components factor = 2.0.

Free Program consists of:

–maximum 7 jump elements for girls and8 jump elements for boys, whichmust include anAxel typejump.
A programmust include up to3 jump combinations or sequences, one jump combomayconsist of 3 jumps, other may include not more than 2 jumps. A double Axel cannot be included more than 2 times in total in a Free Program (as a Solo Jump or a part of Combination / Sequence). Only 2 triple jumps may be repeated and these repetitions must be in a jump combination / sequence;

– maximum 3 spins, one of which must be a spin combination (min. 10 revs), one a flying spinor a spin with a flying entrance (min. 6 revs) and one a spin with only one position (min. 6 revs). All Spins must be of a different character (abbreviation). In the spin combination and spin in one position the change of foot is optional. The number of different positions in the spin combination is free;– maximum1 step sequence.

GROUP “A” level is for skaters who train more than 4 times a week

CHICKS girls born in 2005- 2006 and CHICKS boys born in 2005-2006

Program Length : Girls/Boys 2min ± 10sec

free skating program for singles must contain:

a) A maximum of four (4) jump A well balanced elements for girls and a maximum of five (5) jump elements for Boysand there may be up to one (1) jump combination or sequence. The Axel jump is not required.

A jump combination can contain only two (2) jumps. A jump sequence can contain any number of

jumps, but only the two most difficult jumps will be counted.

Only two (2) jumps can be repeated either in a jump combination or jump sequence.

b) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature, one of which must be a spin in one

position without a change of foot (minimum of three (3) revolutions), the type of the second spin is

optional.

c) There must be a maximum of one (1) step sequence or spiral sequence.

Explanation of Levels:

In all elements which are subject to Levels, only features up to Level 2 will be counted. Any additional

features will not count for Level requirements and will be ignored by the technical panel.

The factor for the Program Components is: 2.5

CUBS ( born in 2003-2004 / 8-9 yrs old ) Basic ISU Novice Young A Modified

Program Length : Girls/Boys 2m30s ± 10sec

For girls and boys levels are not limited. No credits for jumps in the 2nd part of the program. Jumps may be repeated only twice ( solo jump, combination or jump sequence ). The first fall on the double jump will not be taken into account by the technical panel. Nothing changes for the judges.

free skating program for singles must contain:

a) A maximum of four (4) jump A well balanced elements for girls and a maximum of five (5) jump elements for boys. The Axel jump is not required. There may be up to one (2) jump combinations or sequence.

A jump combination can contain only two (2) jumps. A jump sequence can contain any number of

jumps, but only the two most difficult jumps will be counted.

Only two (2) jumps can be repeated either in a jump combination or jump sequence.

b) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature, one of which must be a spin in one

position with or without a change of foot (minimum of three (6) revolutions in total ), and one spin with no change of position and with or without change of foot (minimum of three (6) revolutions in total ). Flying entrance is allowed.

c) There must be a maximum: for Girls (1) Choreo Sequence which includes at least one (1) spiral position at least (3) seconds long. The sequence will have a fixed Base value and evaluated in GOE only.
For Boys: maximum of one (1) Step sequence with a fixed Base value (StSqB) and evaluated in GOE only.

- Performance/Execution

The Factor of the Program Components is : 2.5

SPRINGS born in 2001-2002 ( 10-11 yrs old ) and DEBS born in 1999-2000( 12-13 yrs old )

Basic ISU Novice Young A

Program Length : Girls/Boys 2m30s ± 10sec

For girls and boys levels are not limited. No credits for jumps in the 2nd part of the program. Jumps may be repeated only twice ( solo jump, combination or jump sequence ).

A well balanced Free skating program for singles must contain:

a) A maximum of four (4) jump elements for girls and a maximum of five (5) jump elements for boys

One of which must be the Axel Paulsen. for Boys and there may be up to one (2) jump combinations or sequence.

A jump combination can contain only two (2) jumps. A jump sequence can contain any number of

jumps, but only the two most difficult jumps will be counted.

Only two (2) jumps can be repeated either in a jump combination or jump sequence.

Triple jumps are not permitted.

b) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature, one of which must be a spin combination with or without a change of foot (minimum of three (6) revolutions in total ), and one spin with no change of position and with or without change of foot (minimum of three (6) revolutions in total ). Flying entrance is allowed.

c) There must be a maximum: for Girls (1) Choreo Sequence which includes at least one (1) spiral position at least (3) seconds long. The sequence will have a fixed Base value and evaluated in GOE only.
