This Order disposes of the captioned application of Shri Moti Ram Durgapal, O-35/ B-1, Dilshad Garden, New Delhi- 110095 seeking information under the RTI Act, 2005, received by the office of Small Industries Development Bank of Inida (SIDBI), Mumbai on January 02, 2012 and by the office of Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), SIDBI, Lucknow onJanuary 05, 2012. The information seeker has sought information on One Time Settlement (OTS) policies and norms set by SIDBI and approved by the Board of Directors and the necessary Instructions issued by the Bank’s Policy Departments to the Zonal Offices, Regional offices, branches and other departments of the Bank.

SIDBI’s One Time Settlement (OTS) guidelines are based on guidelines / circulars issued by RBI from time to time. The relevant circulars /extant policy guidelines on OTS are as follows:
