Separate sealed Tenders are invited in the prescribed form by the undersigned for the works mentioned below only from the licensed Electrical contractor, reputed Transport contractor, Registered institute, Reputed security registered licensed agencies, having similar experience of work in MSEDCL and labour duly insured and completing the formalities as per existing labour laws. Tender should reach this office on or before 15/03/08 by 13.00 Hrs. The same shall be opened at 15:00 Hrs. on same day if possible in the presence of the tenderer or their authorized representative.

TERMS & CONDITIONS :
1) Tender documents for sale will be available from the office of Executive Engineer on any working day from 10/03/08 to 15/03/08 in office Hour on non refundable payment of Rs. 500/- in cash if colleted personally or Rs. 550/- collected by post. 2) An earnest money deposit as shown above should be deposited along with the tender either by cash or by demand draft payable any schedule bank at Morshi in favour of Executive Engineer, C.C. O&M Dn. Morshi and receipt / DD No. should be superscripted on Enveloped of the tender documents. If EMD is not deposited in this office and superscription as above is not done on the envelope, the tender will not be considered. 3) No cheque will be accepted toward EMD. EMD only will be accepted upto 13:00 Hrs on Dt. 15/03/08. 4)The Company is not responsible for any postal delay if the tender documents are sent by post and if the same is not received within time the tender will not be considered. 5) Rates for labour contract should be valid for one year from the date of order. 6) The undersigned reserves the right to cancel / reject partly / whole tender without assigning any reason thereof. 7) The required documents should be enclosed in envelop No. I and tender form in envelop No. II if the document No. I are found satisfactory in all respect then only envelop No. II will be opened.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE TENDERERS. (T-1)
1) Name of work : Hiring of diesel Jeep(Mahendra)/ Trax/ TATA Sumo having valid taxi permit, insurance, registration, PUC, model of 2004 onwards for O&M sub dn. Shendurjana Ghat
2) Period of Contract : One year from the date of placing of the Contract Order.
3) Tender Fees (Non Refundable) : The tender documents (tender forms) shall be issued to the competent tenderers on payment of non-refundable fees of Rs.500/- per tender copy (Rs.550/- per tender copy by post).
4) Payment of E.M.D. : Tenderers will have to pay Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for each vehicle i.e. Rs.1000/- per tender alongwith the tender in cash or by D.D. drawn on any schedule bank in favour of M.S.E.D.C.L., payable at Morshi. The tenders submitted without E.M.D. will be liable to be rejected.
5) Filling of Schedule : Tenderer must return the form of schedule duly filled therein the rates in figures and in words and each schedule duly signed. Any tender not bearing the signature of the tenderer on any documents accompanying with the tender is liable to be rejected. In case dual rates are offered for the same item, the offer is likely to be rejected.
6) Tenderer should not offer rates for items not covered in the schedules and also should not split any item of the Schedule. Doing so may disqualify the offer. Discount on any account, such as quantitative discount, payment discount etc. will not be entertained. As such, rates should be on firm quotation basis.
7) Signing the Tender Document: Special attention is invited to requirements that all corrections must be initialed and dated by the tenderer and that all the pages should bear the full signatures of the tenderer at the foot of each page and each schedule should bear the seal of the tenderer.
8) Rejection of Tender : The tender which do not fulfill all or any of the above conditions or incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected.
9) Before submitting their tender rates for all the annual contracts, the tenderer shall examined closely all documents which forms part of the contract to be entered in to by the accepted tenderers.
10) Acceptance : The submission of a tender by a tenderer implies that he has read these instructions, the conditions of contract etc. The M.S.E.D.C.L. will not, however, after acceptance of contract rates, pay extra charges for load or for any other reasons in case the tenderer is found later on to have misjudged himself.

11) Right to Reject the Tender : The Officers who accepts the tender shall have the right to reject, all or any of the tenders and will not be bound to accept the lowest without assigning any reasons whatsoever for the rejection of the any tender or all tenders.
12) Validity Period : Tenders shall remain open for acceptance subject to the provisions of clause above, for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of the tenders and during this period no tenderer shall be allowed to withdraw his tender. Any such withdrawal during the such period, will entail forfeiture of the Earnest Money Deposited with the Tender.
13) Change / Alterations in the Document: If the tenderer has any doubt about the meaning of any portion of the tender, he should have once asked clarification from Executive Engineer, Morshi division in writing in any case before the due date. Additions or alterations in the tender forms/ conditions etc. by the Tenderer without the consent of the Executive Engineer, Morshi are not permissible.
14) E.M.D. : EMD Deposited by the tenderness to whom orders are not placed, will be refunded to them after finalizing the tenders or after 90 days from the date of opening of the tenders whichever is earlier.
