Your appointment is at 50% time; therefore, your actual earned pay will be $xxx, paid over twelve months. This appointment is part time and for an initial period of one year (9/1/2010-8/31/2011). Continuation of the temporary position for a second year is contingent on availability of funding, department course needs, and performance, and notice of non-renewal is not required.

Your responsibilities as a member of the faculty of the [School/Department] of xxx will be consistent with the established workload policy for faculty. Your initial workload will be 100% teaching. You will be expected to participate fully in the life of the [School/Department] and University by service on committees and by your accessibility to students and colleagues.
